Highlight announcements from The Game Awards 2025

The Game Awards 2025 has been and gone, and so here's a round-up of some of the highlight announcements for you so you're not missing out. It was at a terrible time for the EU / UK and so many probably missed it.

First up though - the Game of the Year was Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Congratulations to all the developers involved in it.

Great compilation! Divinity will probably be very good. I am also excited for 007 First Light and slightly interested in No Law.

Tomb Raider - Legacy of Atlantis looks like a return to the good old LAU (Legend, Anniversary, Underworld) trilogy, which still are my favorite titles of the series.

I'm still to finish Diablo IV as it didn't click with me the way I hoped (and having to rebuy on Steam therefore waiting for a good deal) but having Mephisto mob influencers and streamers is delightful. Blizzard cinematics still rock.

And getting a new game from Frictional never hurts - Ontos looks really promising.
