Pokemon-like monster catcher Monster Crown: Sin Eater arrives April 30

Monster Crown: Sin Eater from Studio Aurum is now set to arrive on April 30th, hopefully with some lessons learned from the original. The first game had some nice ideas, but was more than a bit rough at the original release and is still on Mixed from user ratings on Steam multiple years after release. I'm hoping this newer Pokemon-like is more of a hit at release with the expanded studio working on it.

From the press release: "Monster Crown: Sin Eater is a top-down, 2D Monster Taming RPG that aims to push the concept to its absolute limits. In Monster Crown: Sin Eater, the player will travel the world and encounter Monsters roaming the wilds. Each one has a personality; some will flee from the protagonist, some will give chase, some — the more sinister Monsters — will stalk the hero from the shadows.

Throughout the journey, the hero will explore towns packed with interesting characters. Another way Monster Crown: Sin Eater elevates the standard tropes is with branching dialogue and decisions that have a real impact on the game. How the story turns out is up to the player."

You know I played the original game, bought it day one. It was extremely buggy and unpolished.

The demo for this one looks better.
