Misfits Attic revealed Duskers 2.0 at the PC Gaming Show 2026 as part of Summer Game Fest 2026. We're getting more spooky sci-fi goodness with this one. The first game is an absolute gem, with a Very Positive rating on Steam. One you should really go back and play through if you haven't before.
In a press release sent to GamingOnLinux they said: "And if all that isn't exciting enough - we're also creating Duskers 2.0 in partnership with Stray Signal, a new studio founded by an old indie friend - Max McGuire, co-founder of Unknown Worlds Entertainment and one of the creators of Subnautica. Max's efforts are already pluss-ing the game in so many ways that I can't wait to show off."

From the Steam page:
Scavenge derelict spacecraft with your drones, navigating past whatever is still alive in the dark, in order to save what little of humanity is left.
Explore
You sit alone at a terminal, surrounded by old gritty tech that acts as your only eyes and ears to the outside world. You control drones as they explore derelict spacecraft - in an attempt to salvage equipment and the survivors left behind. What you hear comes through a remote microphone. What you see is how each drone sees the world.
Motion sensors tell you something's out there, but not what. And when you issue commands, you do it through a command line interface.
Adapt
The procedurally generated universe pushes back at every turn, with hazards as you travel between systems, and creatures lurking in the darkness of the derelicts you explore. Weapons are rare, so you'll often need to use sensor and ship functions to avoid or trap anything that's wandering the derelicts.
But even if you find a way, the sensor that you rely on may break down, or your lures may run out - even your drone's camera feed can start to fail. Your strategy will have to adapt to your current equipment and surroundings.
Revive
What will you sacrifice to bring humanity back? When you die you lose everything... but the survivors you rescue don't. At the beginning of each run you'll get reports back - detailing how they have fared on the planet you chose for them, with the equipment you left them with. For each settlement you'll learn who survived and who didn't - their triumphs and failures.
