This is a powerful and useful feature of a lot of forums I've been involved with over the years, and I think it would be a great feature of GoL's forum searching, given how much technical advice can be found within a thread's text itself. I'd suggest something like:

Search for:-[search term here]
Look at:----[Drop down menu here, with:]
----------------[Topics only]
----------------[Thread text only]
----------------[Authors only]
Forum:------[Forum list - same as currently is]

Currently I can get around this limitation by using Duckduckgo to search GoL using their "site:" feature, but it would be much nicer to remain on GoL and do the search here. :)
