Will every game work with Proton?

I guess if you install Windows then all games will work. So could be a valid claim after all, unless Valve specifically stated that all games will work out of the box.

Though I do hope that they step up their game with Proton a bit in the next couple months. Then maybe I could actually play The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (without having to delete the cutscenes). And I assume a lot of that work would benefit Wine as well.

Exactly. They are a business, it's marketing. We have to remember that while Valve has done a lot for Linux, it's entirely self-serving of course to further their business. Before we thought maybe it just because they liked Linux after Steam Machines fell, now we know what it was for.

Never believe marketing. There absolutely will be issues.

New games come out every single day without fail, there's no way it will just work with them all.
