The smash hit from kickstarter [url=http://www.ftlgame.com/]Faster Than Light[/url] has now been officially release for Linux, Mac and Windows! I cannot stress enough how awesome the game is, go buy it now! You can buy it via their website using the Humble Store widget giving you multiplatform access, it will also be on Steam later today (so when we get the client in the next few months you can get it there too!)...

Torque 3D to be Released on Github under the MIT license!

So admittedly a little late it's been on my todo list! Not sure how big this is or not but the Torque 3D game engine is [url=http://www.garagegames.com/community/blogs/view/21876]being release open source[/url]. Looking at their website it looks pretty decent and who knows maybe this will get some developers to use it, could even improve some already open source engines out there!

Steam Greenlight Has Some Linux Options

A Linux platform filter has been added to Greenlight (you can see it down the right hand side next to "PC" and Mac). Currently there are 13 titles which show up with that filter enabled, though you may need to select "Most recent" to see them if those items aren't in your Greenlight queue...
