A lot of people were clearly waiting on the official Steam Deck Docking Station

Mine is arriving tomorrow, although I mostly use my Deck to stream video from my Desktop (minidlna to vlc), so I'm not sure the dock will see much use.

The new Steam Mobile App is getting close to release

Neat! No problems on Android either. I signed up, downloaded the update (apparently I last updated Steam on Android over a year ago), and logged back in. Presumably Steam realised that my phone was my MFA device and didn't prompt me for a one time password, but it did drop me at the MFA QR code screen, which confused me for a moment ("what am I supposed to scan?").

The updated app is much better, hopefully it goes live for all users soon.

Shoehorning zombies in? That's a bit disappointing. I guess that's why it's an optional expansion though. Personally, I'll be giving it a miss.

Gah, another game that seems to hardcode keyboards as being qwerty layout.

I'll give it a go, but it might take some getting used to.

Good to know it's coming, I skimmed the news and Native Linux support was last mentioned back in February as "still being worked on".

Wow. I reserved a second Steam Deck five days ago (24th September), hoping to buy one for my partner as a Christmas present, and I got the "your reservation will expire in two days" email today.

There was 4 days, 21 hours, and 15 minutes between placing a deposit, and getting the reservation email. Well done, Valve.

Apparently I haven't played Shadow of Mordor since 2018, but I remember it being pretty good fun. Maybe I'll give it another go at some point, assuming the native Linux version still works -- it'd be good to see how the game ends.
