This was a good opportunity for CS to turn things around for Linux gamers. CS:GO's deck compatibility is still only "playable." Which is sad considering it's Valve's own title and it continues to be one of their most popular. In late 2021, Valve demonstrated that they don't test their Linux builds [External Link]. In 2020, they rolled out a new gamemode that to this day only consistently works on Windows [External Link]. That's right, this issue has had two birthdays!
Excluding Linux players hurts. It suggests that nothing has changed internally. It also means that I won't be able to join my friends when they all get invites. But it is just early testing, so perhaps things could still be different.

The game launches for me, but I can't get any of my controllers to work with it. My Switch controller worked on the main menu and promptly stopped being useful after that.

I played deathmatch on all the maps I normally play and now I almost never stutter. Anyone know where the shader cache is stored? Multiple accounts on shared PC means re-caching all the shaders from scratch
