When a DLC or Chapter is purchased on one platform it is unlocked on any platform where the account is shared. This is true for most classic MMORPGs.
While I haven't tried ESO on Stadia yet (too many Steam Indie demos to check out first) the 30FPS frame lock would kill it for me. ESO combat allows for certain animation cancelling which I think would be a lot clunkier to pull off at lower frames. It isn't something I'm particularly good at and use often, but I think this would only make it harder to get a smooth rhythm.

The demo runs really well. It took me a little while to get used to the controls. I started with a DS4 but switched to KB/M for better aim and flight control. The controller worked well but I preferred the keyboard and mouse more.

Good news. Besiege already has a ton of build flexibility. A lot of ideas come to mind. The trick and challenge is making them actually function properly.

According to the patch notes [External Link] in 4.25 GLES 3.1 and Metal 2.0 are in, GLES2 and Metal 1.2 are out:
OpenGL ES3.1 and Metal 2.0 are now the default feature levels for Android and iOS projects, respectively. Vulkan, ES3.1, and Metal 2.0 all have similar features, enabling us to establish better feature parity between mobile platforms. They will also enable us to take advantage of advancing mobile technology to establish better feature parity with desktop/console.
OpenGL ES3.1 and Metal 2.0 will be enabled by default on new Android and iOS projects, and you can set them as your preview feature level in the Unreal Editor. Projects migrating from previous versions of Unreal will be upgraded to these feature levels by default.
The OpenGL ES2 and Metal 1.2 rendering feature levels have been removed from Unreal Engine.

It is considerate of them to explain their design and it makes sense. AoR looks terrific and meaty. While the interface and perspective may not be for me personally, it looks like it delivers.

The Crystal Balls of Doom are all over this thread. I guess we'll have to see if these guys implement Vulkan better than their peers.
Regarding Proton/WINE vs Native: In my Steam Library the number of working games that break, due to age and updates, across native and Proton are about the same. The thing is with aging native titles, like Torchlight 2 or the beloved Rocket League, they may never get updated and fixed. There are no guarantees or promises with any title. Generally, I wait a few months after a title releases, usually for a sale, before I buy it and that tends to cover a multitude of issues.

The drifting and sliding looks fun. The top down perspective doesn't appeal to me. I'm a fan of kart-style racers and would prefer third person "over the shoulder" directly behind the vehicle.

Do you balance Nature and Science point gains or have you found a better ratio?

Quoting: PhiladelphusPumps in particular offer some really interesting strategies, like chaining tanks together to allow you to put all your heaters/coolers/filters/etc. in a single maintenance room so your mechanics don't have to go running all over your aquarium (though it's less efficient since you'll need more filters to maintain water quality).I'm trying to reduce my mechanical filter needs with habitat buffs.

Quoting: CreakI don't see the point in being against a standardized API for money transactions. Is it because it is talking about money, so it has to be evil?!The standardization isn't what I'm speaking to. I'm against what I see an an ever moving increasingly invasive monetization machine. It's a complex topic so I won't try and dissect it all, but I'm speaking to games with cash shops, microtransactions, and digital blind box sales and to a greater extent "Games as a Service". I feel most of this entire system is user hostile and predatory and in an attempt to make my actions match my words I've cut out from my play list most every game with a cash shop. If the industry was heavily regulated in this area then my opinion might change. Until then I'm adamantly against further advancing monetization in online entertainment. This industry desperately needs regulation and oversight in this area in my opinion.
I think instead this could lead to interesting new features. I'm thinking about it a bit and I actually think this could lead to more freedom for the users actually. For instance, instead of having websites forcing Paypal, the user could choose whatever transaction service he would prefer: the website is just happy to know the transaction has been done and don't care if it comes from Paypal or whatever. This could lead to more competition in the world of e-transactions, where, I don't know, we could have services providing additional insurances when using them.
Monetization in some games are perfectly fine. It's not because EA made an awful pay-to-win game that automatically all the free-to-play games are bad! Take a look at Dota 2 for instance, it's a good example IMO of a well done free-to-play game. Anything you buy in-game is purely for aesthetics. The Battle Pass gives you an extra layer of gameplay on top of your traditional games (like a challenge to have 5 wins with this or that hero).
