Well I'm glad that I didn't bother with that game then. If I need a Free-To-Play game I'll spin up Warframe where they don't care.

Now hold up...

SteamOS:

- Compatible with Steam only
- Locked to the Valveverse

Now those are two completely incorrect statements. I already don't like the company.

This is more for folks who are not technical to either build their own retro gaming system and use something like the Pi. It's for folks who want to buy it, plug it in and power than go on their way.

Quoting: ahoneybunAfter trying out a tablet with Linux (GNOME and Plasma) I have to say they all need some work but mostly with the OSK. ChromeOS has the best keyboard since it can also be split and floating which is great for using the system. I want to see more products like this with Linux but we really need to address these issues.
Mind you, with something like this I don't think you'd use the screen keyboard much. It has a real one, if you're going to be typing you just fold it the other way.
With it folded or in tent mode how would you use the keyboard?

I have to edit the .desktop file for Steam to launch it at 200% since it keeps using 100%. I still see 100% from time to time though for some reason.

I'm not a big fan of Manjaro but I'm glad to see more Linux OSes on gaming hardware!

System76 are giving their Linux laptops a big refresh

Most of the information on the [Support site](support.system76.com) is made by the support and QA teams but some ideas are from community input. If you can link to the Reddit comment that would be good but trying to figure out what information is needed. The backend of the Pop!_Shop is Packagekit which then calls apt/dpkg and flatpak from my understanding.

Quoting: MinuxThe day I can get some money, I'm buying myself one of their machines. Love the work of these guys. I feel like we not always have enough info on everything they make. But we fortunately have the dev mmstick to give us his insights :-)
What sort of information do you feel is missing? I can ask the marketing/web teams to add it maybe.

Quoting: iiariI think we're finally starting to see some 16:10 displays from S76 as well, at least the next Orxy Pro is listed as having it upcoming. I own two older Oryx Pros, but I've admittedly been more recently really spoiled by Dell XPS and HP Elitebook levels of hardware quality... I'm really looking forward to S76's eventual bespoke laptops, however...
The current model (oryp11) has a 16:10 panel as well.
