This is probably the game I dreamt of playing back in the Amiga days.

Those days are long gone.

CryEngine Gets An Official Linux Support Announcement

Quoting: sigzWell they said "For now, Linux support will be limited to the game launcher," I think this means only the engine.

With me empathizing, "for NOW". Ergo it's coming, but not now. What other way can it be interpret?

So this means that eventually also the dev tools / IDE will be ported to Linux as well (and not just the engine)? Cause that's not been confirmed before, has it? Either way, that's *great* news!

Linux Drops Below 1% On The Steam Hardware Survey
7 May 2015 at 7:31 am UTC

Quoting: liamdaweThe problem is that all developers we have spoken too always give us sales figures close to the survey numbers, so can the real number be that far off?

This is exactly it. There's simply no reason to doubt the numbers. They fit into the big picture perfectly.
The Linux desktop statistics, and we now talk about desktop users, not just Linux gamers, are hovering around 2.5% globally (varies a bit on what source you read, but it's roughly there).

So there's no need to doubt what the numbers tells us, no reason to scream for foul play or doubtful poll practises here - we are small. Period. That's just the sober state of fact at this point in time.

This was a very well written review, BTRE. Covered all aspects of the game from graphics to audio, gameplay to story, systematically breaking down the game to the components within and pointing out the flaws therein.

Keep up the good work, this is how a review should be!

Quoting: Glog78Bioshock Infinite is instable without workaround (eg: removing all frequency changeing) and is hovering at 60fps and below. While this is certainly playable this is not what my rig is capable of. If i check the cpu usage as a diagram none of my cores is fully used and my gtx 970 can't be the bottleneck @ 1080p.

Bioshock Infinite hovering around 60fps on a gtx970?!? Dude, something's messed up with your system then, cause I run Infinite on an average well above 100 - often 12-130fps on a gtx680 & i7 cpu.
