PCGamingWiki Looks At Tropico 5 And Borderlands 2 Linux Ports

Slightly offtopic maybe, but can someone explain to me what exactly this "PhysX effects" is? What am I missing from my Borderlands experience on Linux?
I've played Borderlands 2 both on PS3 and Windows earlier, but can't seem to notice any difference in the physics in the Linux version (if we by physics means how things fall and move and handle and so forth)?

Just for the record: Rumble works on Linux with the Logitech f710 gamepad. Confirmed during my Borderlands 2 session yesterday. :)

Quoting: MetallinatusMeh, I would like to know how to use my Wii U Pro Controller using USB instead of Bluetooth.... given that my desktop PC lacks the later.
A bluetooth dongle is really, really cheap.

I don't understand this. hasn't xbox controller support been in Linux already a long time? My Logitech f710 has a switch that can turn on Xbox button layout (ergo emulation) and in that mode I've been using that gamepad right out of the box since forever?

Also, if you need to use a wire while using the xbox controller, I'd very much recommend the Logitech simply cause it's wireless. I'll never touch a controller with a wire again after being used to the wireless controllers on the ps3.

Borderlands took me by storm when first released. I just bought it since it had campaign coop and I pretty much bought anything with coop back then, not really expecting much more than a pretty basic shooter. But man, it was insta-love.

Also, the coop mechanics are so hassle free and well built. It just works. This is a fantastic franchise we got every reason to celebrate coming to Linux.

Borderlands 2 Released For Linux With A Sale

So last night I gave Borderlands 2 a hefty spin in coop with another community member here (I forgot your site nick dude, but you know who you are!) and I gotta say, this is one ROCK SOLID port.

Everything we tested worked including online coop, ingame mic audio (that's still not fixed in L4D2 ,is it?), it's a solid frame rate on my rig (gtx680 @ 2560x1440), smooth like silk.

My coop buddy did experience a couple of crashes initially, but once we got hooked up and got started all seemed to run fine on his rig too.

THANK YOU ASPYR!
