Borderlands 2 Released For Linux With A Sale

Quoting: SeredJust one little thing I find rather annoying is the main page of the steam store right now:

"Coming to STEAMOS Borderlands The Pre-Sequel!"

"Now on STEAMOS Borderlands 2"

Nowhere is mentioned that Linux = SteamOS or rather that SteamOS is just one distro of Linux. Something like "SteamOS/Linux" would be great :/

Just a small thing, as said, yet annoying to me.
I think we just have to get used to this.
Think of it this way: Linux still *need* Valve to succeed on the gaming field. We are totally dependent on them. So to give their distro a little extra push and spotlight, it's really just fair isn't it?

They should just stop local storage of save-files altogether, and put all saves in the Steam cloud - at least make it a global option. it's just hassle to store stuff like that locally.

Autumn Is A Game For Relaxing On Linux

Wonderful music indeed. I've become a big fan of ambient music. I've always preferred the electronic side of the music, but usually the upbeat genres.

But man, ambience is pure silk for the mind. Puting an ambient online stream (like Ambient Art Sound, Sleepbot, Bluemars, so forth) into your earbuds is an excellent way of falling asleep.

Quoting: neokivaI am going to buy this i am so sick of hearing the only 1 or 2 % marketshare (not to mention those surveys either have errors or biased) argument used to justify mmos and other decent games not coming to linux. guys if you can please pay full price. this will benefit us and others in the future.
You are right of course. Plus, this *is* a game with a decent review score. So I bought it now.

Hmm - I'll wait until a few patches has ironed out the quirks.

But that's all sweet - gives me more time to play Wasteland 2 in the meantime. :)

DoubleFine Ceasing Spacebase DF-9 Development, Releasing Code For Modders

Steam should just remove Early Access from their network. it's not a good idea.

At the very least there should be an option in the client to filter out anything not properly released yet.

I'll get it for sure. it's a quality production, I've not played any entries in this franchise since maybe the first or second iteration, and am totally ready to support'em for their efforts.

This'll be great!
