Some people, here in Germany jumps on the Save power train, because the power was not cheap here so the people use these kind of drives.
So i find the information from the Topic starter really important.
Why? I'm hardware/software technician and openSuSE supporter.
I have a green Drive from WD, but it was a USB Drive that's works now intern as Data drive. My primary drive was a ssd.
Thx to the Topic starter.
Best regards
Peter

Quoting: PublicNuisanceAnyone using these as a main drive are doing it wrong anyway. They are meant as storage drives not as program or OS drives. Some setups have this Drive Series as main drive. See NAS Servers.

Quoting: thelimeydragonGoing by the forums the game was only put on Steam for Windows in November.Yes it is a Native Port
Is this an actual native port? As I would be amazed for such an old game to be ported without using a WINE wrapper.
Quoting: HyeronWasn't there a native port done by Runesoft waaaaaay back then? Is it the same or a RE-port? :pI think it is the Rune Soft Port. On Desura you can get the Rune Soft Port.

In order to have a clean system?
To install programs and games?
Order to coinciding with resolve the dependencies that need the game or application?
For some GOG Games you need, to resolve the dependencies on 64bit systems, your package management too.
I also said was that the game on the popular Linux distributions available over 8 years.
That is why his statement was untrue, it be not available on Linux.

Quoting: liamdaweWhat is the package management there?Quoting: BdMdesigNHave you ever thought that some people don't want to trawl through their package manager for games?Quoting: CheesenessWhy you will see "Beneath A Steel Sky" on GOG?Quoting: sakurazukaNice thing is that one of Linux GOG is actually a free game so anyone can try it out. There are two, actually! Dragonsphere [External Link] and Stargunner [External Link] are both free. Once some ScummVM titles hit, I'm sure we'll see Beneath A Steel Sky, Lure of the Temptress and Teen Agent (also free) being available to Linux users as well.
Its opensource and you can get it on your Distribution for free. I have it over 8 years in my openSuSE resopitories.
