Hopefully with the next Proton Experimental, but I guess GloriousEggroll will be first.

I finally got a new graphics card capable of ray-tracing and restarted Cyberpunk with patch 2.0, only to find out that RT will crash my computer *sadpanda*

Nexus Mods App is an in-development replacement for Vortex that will support Linux

I'm really looking forward to that. Modding has remained a real hassle, nothing works really well, nor is it easy to install. Really great news, let's see how it works out.

The developer is also usually streaming on twitch while developing, channel "dev_spajus". That's a rare thing and sometimes pretty interesting, if you're into such things, like me. :D

Valve fix up more SteamVR 2.0 Beta issues

Same Problems as you have. Besides that, trying to update the Base Stations or exiting SteamVR (non beta) straight crashes Steam.

With non beta, I still have green flickering artifacts when in that skydome thingy and the controllers render wierd again - though not inside out, as they used to for months.

All in all, can't say anything has improved for me. :/

Works perfectly with Proton Experimental here. Default Proton crashes when starting a game, but loads the Menu.
So nice to have such a game running on Linux on release Day. I remember different times...

Baldur's Gate 3 out now and works on Steam Deck and desktop Linux

Quoting: tgurr> Quote from article: Sticking with it on DirectX 11 as Vulkan (from what I've seen) can be problematic

Specific details would've been nice about what actual
can be
or rather is problematic?
From what I've gathered, that can vary. For me it was rendering funny colored squares all over the main menu, from there I've quit and switched to DX11, which works well.

Other's say it will crash right away or while playing. Very unfortunate that they have released it with a buggy Vulkan render pipeline. But hey, at least the other one works. :)

Performance on Deck is quite okay if you turn some things down, but it eats battery for breakfast without limiting TDP and going for 24 fps. Even then...

I've not checked myself, but I've seen there is a bug report about this (and other regressions) on github:

So a meta api from Meta?
Doesn't sound that bad, though.
