SuperTuxKart is really has become a quality game. Not that I didn't like it before, but it is still impressive to see how far they have come.

Anybody brave enough to try it on AMD and post the results here, so I can make a risk-free purchase? ;)
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Liam soaring through the sky now 'Fugl' is on Linux

Fugl fills a very special niche for me. Sometimes I am too mentally exhausted to play anything that requires focus, and this game has a certain soothing effect on me.
I think they really captured what I would imagine soaring like a bird would feel like, and audio is a big part of that.
In small doses it can be healthy, but for most this is probably more of a "buy it on sale just to see if I would enjoy that kind of stuff" game, rather than a must-have. This is definitely not for everyone, and not for extended periods of time.

Quoting: liamdaweSo what you are saying is that you approve of hentai pr0n? Good to know. ;)Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTI saw only the title and the picture: Liam, are you sure it's not a hentai pr0n game? :'pNothing to do with me, it's user submission (as noted by the author link at the top), I just clean them up (links, spelling etc) and approve them if they're good to go :)
Amazon Lumberyard game engine is no longer going to support Linux, not enough demand

As far as developers go, Mac is like 60%, with Linux and Windows about 20% each. Android developers are among the biggest Linux users.
It is usually much easier to cooperate between Linux- and Mac-using developers, because both are Unixes, and a lot of tools are the same.
So it is a double edged sword. Mac can be the best friend or the worst enemy of Linux. Often both at the same time.

Quoting: g000hI work for a non-game software development company, and I can attest to this. Macs are very prevalent. At one point everything that our marketing department produced came in proprietary iWork formats. Until we went like WTF guys, you do realize that at least half of your colleagues have no way of using any of that?Quoting: gort818Game companies have staff who use Macs by preference...there's much more demand for a MacOS editorI wonder how they are gauging demand, who is demanding?
