I have a hobby to compose and write Music in Linux
Pipewire with jack is awesome and you can configure it with very low latency.

Currently I am at 5.3ms latency

Liam ReaySession is the best tool to use
(It has sessions so you can save your connections)

Wayland has a lot of problems and even with AMD Graphic cards I am not able to use it.

If you have one monitor is ok to use Wayland but if you have 4x monitors then is a total chaos.

For example You are not able to set a Monitor as your primary monitor.

Valve overhauls the Dota 2 new player experience as DOTA: Dragon's Blood releases
26 March 2021 at 9:05 am UTC

Well I havent played dota2 but I wanted to start playing with this anime but with an ATI RX 6900XT I was hoping to play Dota2 in stable 144hz but instead I am getting a lot of FPS drops and low fps.

Loading to watch a game or entering a new game can go to 1 FPS and then after a while it may settle to 70FPS.

I cant figure out what causing this since other games are playing just fine.

I have tried also different vulkan drivers but the same thing.

SteamVR 1.9 is out, Linux VR users may want to opt into a Beta
19 December 2019 at 7:16 am UTC

Quoting: MatomboI'm now owing a Valve index but i sadly must admit that steamvr for linux is still more or less a beta overall:
Camera not working
Audio not working without tinkering
Mic not working without tinkering
Reprojection is causing headdache inducing flickering
And the constant rumbling bug in the controllers (i guess that's what they are refering to the "rare" stuck haptics bug, which isn't quite so rare)

However, despite this I'm havin a blast playing Serious Sam and Talos Principle und other games using proton ^^.

I was thinking to buy a Valve index as an Xmas Present for me but I guess it will have to wait since nothing is working..

Another big SteamVR update is out now, with plenty of Linux fixes for VR enthusiasts

I am thinking to get Valve Index VR as Xmas Present, I wonder if its worth it to use it under Linux.

Also I wonder how is VR under Linux , do we have enough titles or at the end is not worth it?

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition released with Linux support

Friends playing planet Zoo and other waiting for STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order™ to be released in a couple of days.
Some other already pre-ordered Cyberpunk 2077....

And here is me trying to convince myself to get that game on steam since I already have it on a PS4 a year ago.

Is almost 2020 and still we dont get newly released games in Linux , I wonder if that will ever change.
Waiting for Proton compatibility or ports after a year is not an option for Gamers.
