Quoting: TheBossI would have been higher...maybe, but sadly the audio bug with USB headsets killed the game for me, I'm testing some Pulse fixes for it atm.

Want to play XCOM 2? The system requirements for Linux & SteamOS have been sent out
3 Feb 2016 at 5:16 pm UTC Likes: 1

My only concern was to buy or not to buy....
But I know at the end that I will buy it and not play it at all.... :(
I tried hard and I mean very hard to play EVERY single turn based game/Strategy and so on that has ever been released.
I haven't even finished XCOM , I think I played mission 1 or tutorial and quited because I got bored ... :O

I just find all that kind of games extremely boring. sometimes I even fall asleep while playing these kind of games... :'(
I grew up in the Golden Arcade Era so I guess that is why...

All great news and so on but tbh the only game I want to play in 2016 is Street Fighter V and no news for it and not even a SteamOS/Linux icon on pre-orders yet..... Should I worry a bit :( ??

Is going to get released in 2 weeks

No, Linux is not at 1900 games on Steam, we didn't get 100 games in nine days

For me here in Europe is 1915 Games Released for Steam :)

http://store.steampowered.com/search/?snr=1_4_4__12&term=#sort_by=_ASC&category1=998&os=linux&page=1 [External Link]

so technically they are correct that are over 1900 Games on Steam :P
(This search I assume is the search that many people did without the knowledge of what games are released...)

BUT.....

This search lists unreleased and upcoming titles and also some of the games that are listed on this search are listed twice , yes twice the same game title.

Planetary Annihilation: The journey of a Kickstarter
4 Jan 2016 at 7:55 pm UTC

I have to say that Uber Entertainment messed up with its community and money handling.

They handle their community like $$$ and more $$$$$$$ and that is called GREED!

Kickstarter campaign 44,162 backers pledged $2,229,344 to help bring this project to life.

Many funs were complaining about that they didnt get their rewards or their bonus keys didnt get updated to Titan versions etc... also many people that didnt back them up on kickstartter but they have spend like 60$ for an early access on Steam, they didnt get the TITANS version as well.

Uber put a small fee like 12$ for an upgrade to Titans but a lot of people refuse to pay that fee for an update.
Titans should be free for ALL the people who have already purchased Planetary annihilation -> End of Story.

Anyway, So at the end what they have manage to do? --> split their community and make people angry and totally against Uber

check stats

First Game Planetary Annihilation (yeah I understand that this game has been in bundles etc cheap as 1$)

http://steamcharts.com/app/233250 [External Link]

5,480
all-time peak

Second Game
Planetary Annihilation: TITANS
http://steamcharts.com/app/386070 [External Link]

1,783
all-time peak

Splitting the community into 2 that means less people to play online and with the new games coming out less and less people are going to play the game so at the end it will become dead.

Uber is making attempts to promote the game of the price of 1$ or in many bundles so other players can purchase the upgrade for 14$ which that makes the community more upset and angry towards uber because some people spend a lot of money for that game and they didn't get a free update.

Some thoughts on the Asus 4K PB287Q 28 inch monitor, with added radiation alarm
21 Dec 2015 at 5:51 pm UTC

I have the same monitor Liam and I dont have any of the problems you are mentioning and especially that Siren thingy.

Tips

1. Dont use display ports. They give a lot of problems
You can achieve 4k resolution with a good quality HDMI, even with a DVI cable you can get 2560x1440 but trust me 2560x1440 is more than enough for the desktop environment and gaming with 1 GTX980 graphic card.

2. That siren thingy according to my speculations maybe is because of bad electricity power going to monitor or the quality of the display cable? dont know for sure never had this problem.

3. use ArnadR for proper monitor configurations in order to create a script and run it at start up

4. in order to avoid SDL applications/games taken over the second screen you have to add these lines to /etc/profile

export SDL_VIDEO_FULLSCREEN_HEAD=0
export SDL_VIDEO_FULLSCREEN_DISPLAY=0
export SDL_VIDEO_MINIMIZE_ON_FOCUS_LOSS=0

if you have any more questions about this monitor let me know , I would be glad to help :)
