Quoting: xaviI started/ended Minit.

It is a pity because I just searched one thing on the internet.
It was not a big spoiler, just at what screen should I find that clue.
But I could have solved everything without external sources.
I know and hate the feeling.

Quoting: randylMy personal opinion is that PoE really drags in the third act. When I see a lot of praise for it I always wonder if they actually finished the game or even tried to get through the third act.
Played through the whole game and enjoyed it.

  • Port Valley
    Somewhat charming old fashioned adventure game. I got pretty stuck in it, so let's see if I have time to finish the demo on time
I expect that I can keep the demos running when I go to offline mode.

The "original" demo of Port Valley was very good IMHO. The developer will put it back after the festival, so you could also (stay online and) try this one later on. It's even a bit more old fashioned though, AFAIR.

  • Growbot
    Cute point and click adventure with bit more original backstory, demo is just so short that it's hard to say if it's good or not.
  • Mutropolis
    Interesting background story about future archaeologists. Characters could have been more intriguing if they had voice acting
I had missed these, so thanks for pointing out!

Quoting: omicron-bFinally finishing Pillars of Eternity. Switched to "Easy", this is clearly not my genre.

With the release of OpenMW 0.46, started my second playthrough of TES III: Morrowind with just about 7 mods. It looks gorgeous!
Isn't Morrowind way harder than PoE? :)

Meal making automation in the Zach-like 'Neon Noodles' feels great

Just googled for '"neon noodles" link' - and ended up here. :D

Demos mostly. :D

* ASYLUM Demo
Just touched shortly, I fear not being able to move freely is not my thing anymore. :-(
* Slender Threads Demo
Nice light horror, put on wish list
* Saint Kotar: The Yellow Mask
Dark horror, lots of myterious talking, little actual game in the demo. So disturbing that I had to fetch a blanket. Supported it on Kickstarter (third backing ever). It gave me some Last Crown vibes - anybody can relate to this?
* The Last Cube Demo
(At first I was confounding this one with Parabox - too many games this weekend. :) )
Nice look and feel, unsure about the puzzling. Following the game.
* DRAG Demo
Nice one but I'm just too bad at racing.
* art of rally Demo
Nope.
* Nine Noir Lives Demo
Need to play more of it, not too much into this cat thing ATM.
* Patrick's Parabox Demo
Well, when the recursive boxes came, I was captivated. Put on follow list.
* Whateverland: Prologue
Did not really get into it, will take a look later.
* The Long Gate Demo
Nice presentation, but found it a bit too fiddly to try my solutions. And in the end... OR, NOT and AND...? Hm.
* The House of Da Vinci
My go to game at the moment (yes, fell for Proton whitelisted)

A chat with the dev of Saint Kotar: The Yellow Mask that's out now

Kickstarter upodate says:

We are also glad to announce that in a few days a DRM-free version of the prologue will be available on itch.io. We will post a new update when this happens.

DRAG certainly seems like a promising upcoming racing game

Quoting: x_wingYou have to practice. The game seems to not have any driving assistance (out of the acceleration control) so a minimum error is catastrophic. Be gentle with the throttle, use the brake and search for the path where your wheels never loose grip (i.e. avoid loosing wheel contact with the floor as much as you can).
Beginner's question: Do you do full throttle from the start?

An update on Easy Anti-Cheat support for Wine and Proton
20 Jun 2020 at 3:14 pm UTC

Quoting: g000hDon't think your point holds weight *because* cheating is easy on Windows.
I can't judge that part. But if they're fighting windmills already on Windows, I guess it doesn't matter if Linux joins in.
