Looks like Subnautica from the Natural Selection 2 developers won't get Linux support

Well pardon my French, but no shit, really? I seriously question the intelligence of a developer that would think it was that simple.
I would guess this is aimed at all those none-developers who actually think it's that easy. You can find lots of them in the Steam forums...

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided looks like it may be getting a Linux & SteamOS release

Quoting: STiATWhat the hell are they statically linking to the linux binary? That's insane :D.
That must be a self-extracting complete minimal Linux!
One moment...
No, foget the "minimal". :D

After five months, twin stick shooter RPG 'NeuroVoider' will exit Early Access in a couple of days

Quoting: LinasThis does look cool. Although the thing that tends to discourage me from buying these kind of games is that there are quite many of them. On the surface they look so similar that it makes it very hard to choose. Not something I thought I would complain about, but here I am.
Many people tend to debase user reviews. I think if you take them and look out for a good percentage (anything with many reviews and say 95% positives?), you ought to find something that makes most people liking such games - like, yourself - happy. Then you could look out for a well rated negative review and see if the negative aspects would hurt you.

Have you seen ChromaGun? A first-person puzzler inspired by portal, but with paint

Quoting: GoboI wanted to download the demo but all I get is a message telling me that the product is not available for my platform. Did they pull it again? Specs for Linux are still visible as well as the SteamOS icon.
This is often the case: Game available for Linux, but demo not.

I played through it (on Debian) and didn't have a single crash. If you're through with Portals and Talos Principle and still hungry for first-person puzzling, it's not a great, but a nice one.

No Man's Sky has been shown to work rather well in Wine on Linux

Quoting: 14Wine has its purpose. For one, it is a gentler transition to Linux gaming rather than just saying "goodbye" to a lot of your games. But I'm not a Winer user anymore, not for a couple years now. There is enough Linux gaming support to keep my backlog growing more than it's shrinking.
My purpose for WINE is making my tax declaration.
I'm a bit tempted to try No Man's Sky, but hey, there are good videos out there.
And as others already said: I've got too many good games for Linux anyway.

[SHOCKING new information: Our next project is coming to the Mac. What do you think it is?](https://www.facebook.com/aspyrmedia/photos/a.111147138963286.17046.109613065783360/1066913723386618/?type=3&theater)

Did they really not realize how truly shocking this would be to some of their customers?
