Quoting: PicoboomBeing known as a fair, non-raging, even helpful PD2 host has gotten me a lot of friend requests over the years for this very reason.

I've got a lot of hours on PD2, and have sorta accreted an informal list of pointers for new players. I'll offer some here hoping they'll help fellow Penguin Heisters joining missions online:
Thanks for your tips!
I'll try to think of them when I'm taking my first try. :)

Quoting: KimyrielleAwesome to see SE coming to Linux and porting major titles. SE is one of the very few major publishers I still was missing on Linux (Bethesda is the only other one I can think of right now.)
If I had to choose one publisher to support Linux, and all the others might or might not, it would probably be Bethesda.
(Mayyybe after Daedalic.)

Quoting: hidekinDoes it works if you remove the game from your library and buy the game again ?
You need to contact steam support to remove a game.
I really would go for gifting the game or buying DLCs instead.

How much icon grinding is it? I liked the first hours of Shadow of Mordor, but then, in felt more like work than like fun...

Quoting: RichieEBI really want to buy it on its sale but everything being digital and having 8-50kbps is just not worth downloading 1-15GB.
Genrally slow line or just having problems with Steam downloads?
There are possible workarounds for the later:
