Strangely, I was always laughing about farmers playing farming sims, metro drivers playing metro sims, ... and now I'm playing TIS-100 - so I'm programming in a game, which is what I do for a living as well. :D

Or you could try it on Linux, giving them some money to make their support even better, find out if it works and help them with your feedback - and only play it on Windows if it really doesn't work. Many people have reported that games offically not supported on AMD ran well nevertheless.

So for sure you're a special one concerning this game. Most of us just aren't, never have been and never will be truck drivers in real life.

But funnily, I've read that it's not uncommon that such simulator games are played by people who have the very same job. Farmers playing farming simulators (you can ride the new tractor there you could never afford in real life!) and even subway drivers "playing" the new subway simulator - and yes, it does exist [External Link]!

I guess truck simulators have one more thing that many of us ordinary people imagine truck riding as the world of the free, lone rider (while in reality it isall about how long you can hold your pee of course ;) ).

Good news that is! I offten looked through the games to come and had to look for the SteamOS on my own. Not hard to do of coursee but still annoying.

You can always explicitely choose SteamOS/Linux and deselect Windows. (Except for the upcoming section, where it didn't work.)
