Game doesn't respect my dual-monitor setup, tries to use both as one big display. Not finding any real options to change it to windowed mode either.

I'm a lot like you, I always played WoW for the questing and tooling around different areas to check out the environments. PvP has never been an interest for me, I want to interact with a world while other people interact with the same world. It doesn't look like Albion is going to satisfy any of that.

I'll have to give it another try. Last version I tried was 17 or 18, and they seem to be up to 23 now so I expect there's some big changes.

Does it still only have two difficulty levels: loads of monsters or none at all?

For those who don't know, and the article doesn't mention it, both games were by the dev who went on to make Salt & Sanctuary.

I agree on that point. I found The Whispered World spent all its time desperately trying to be a comedy, which undercut the story itself quite badly. If they leave that behind and relegate humour to more situational elements, I'd welcome it.

As to the trailer, the voice acting seems really stiff. The little girl voice isn't too bad, but the rest are awkward as hell. The main character also looks way older than his voice suggests, which is a bit odd.

There is a bit of thinking involved though, to work out the timeline of events. There are interesting implications to how everything plays out beyond just the main storyline delivered through the dialogue. It's worth digging into the little nooks and crannies to find scraps of the other characters' stories.

Tempted to pick up Aquaria, it's really cheap and I've heard good things. But I dunno if an action game is my speed right now.
