And Minetest, which is free and native on Linux, also offers a great experience.
'Battle Chasers: Nightwar' is a visually stunning RPG inspired by a comic, that might be released next year

The first pic looks very Torchlight II, the second more Bastion.

Game doesn't respect my dual-monitor setup, tries to use both as one big display. Not finding any real options to change it to windowed mode either.

Quoting: PicoboomI am by nature an amiable loner, and so I tend to avoid most PvP gameplay and shy away from joining formal guilds, groups, and teams. I want to support Albion Online --- I've looked it over several times after Liam has written about it here --- but its focus on PvP and Guilds just doesn't sound like it's for me. I'm pinning most of my MMORPG hopes on either open-sourced Ryzom or Runescape, I'm afraid.I'm a lot like you, I always played WoW for the questing and tooling around different areas to check out the environments. PvP has never been an interest for me, I want to interact with a world while other people interact with the same world. It doesn't look like Albion is going to satisfy any of that.

I'll have to give it another try. Last version I tried was 17 or 18, and they seem to be up to 23 now so I expect there's some big changes.
Does it still only have two difficulty levels: loads of monsters or none at all?

For those who don't know, and the article doesn't mention it, both games were by the dev who went on to make Salt & Sanctuary.
You might want to keep an eye on 'Silence', the new point & click adventure from Daedalic Entertainment

As to the trailer, the voice acting seems really stiff. The little girl voice isn't too bad, but the rest are awkward as hell. The main character also looks way older than his voice suggests, which is a bit odd.

Quoting: PlintslchoSilence looks gorgeous though and I will keep an eye on it. I really hope that the characters in Silence are nothing like Sadwick in The Whispered World.I agree on that point. I found The Whispered World spent all its time desperately trying to be a comedy, which undercut the story itself quite badly. If they leave that behind and relegate humour to more situational elements, I'd welcome it.

Make sure you play 'Gone Home' this weekend, as it's free for a short time

Quoting: AnxiousInfusionJust be aware that with this title, you are not playing to think and solve problems. You are a passive observer taking a not-so-guided tour. Not a good or bad thing, just a different flavor of game. Kind of an ideological museum walk through. There is a bit of thinking involved though, to work out the timeline of events. There are interesting implications to how everything plays out beyond just the main storyline delivered through the dialogue. It's worth digging into the little nooks and crannies to find scraps of the other characters' stories.

Tempted to pick up Aquaria, it's really cheap and I've heard good things. But I dunno if an action game is my speed right now.
