I say this primarily because we don't know what strings (and we know that there are strings with these things, there always are) are attached and I'd rather Godot and these other entities stay away from that.

Nvm just realized proton-ge upstreams these changes long before experimental goes live.

This needs way more attention then it's getting. Unity needs to be usurped as the defacto indie engine, and a FOSS engine in the form of Godot is perfect.

It provides a lot of good features that way, and brings it in closer competition with Streamlabs OBS. It may look a bit better but it's just overly "modernized" i.e. information density < looks pretty.

I hope that og OBS can take back some of the users that were lost to Streamlab's fork.
