There would be things about how the auto updates work in the background. Having a better explanation on what the Pop shop is doing and how it is managing the resources.
I'm always curious and like to know what exactly the system is doing with my actions. It's really useful information to know when you could be doing something that could alter something on the system.
I remember one day I asked on Reddit. If I remember right, mmstick answered me about how the update system worked, and it indeed helped me to know if enabling the option was a good idea. I guess it'd be great for them to put like some kind of small feedback on the system to know what's happening when you enable certain things or even a small FAQ for more curious minds.
I really think it'd be really useful.
Bear in mind it's just my opinion.

Quoting: ahoneybunI'd be grateful :)Quoting: MinuxThe day I can get some money, I'm buying myself one of their machines. Love the work of these guys. I feel like we not always have enough info on everything they make. But we fortunately have the dev mmstick to give us his insights :-)What sort of information do you feel is missing? I can ask the marketing/web teams to add it maybe.

How did you end being a character of that game, Liam? You seem changed tho in that mini picture of the video, with that moustache and being bald.:grin::grin:
I know I'm bad, but at least I hope I made you smile reading that haha
(This is my payback for making me broke!)

I will be a fan of this game when they decide to fix one and for all the character creation screen... It's been a mess for some time and while the game works really well, they seem to almost completely ignore the Linux side. There's been multiple people who reported this and months ago. I guess there's some kind of "fix" for AMD though.
It didn't really work very well on Proton for me. So I'm bit sad about this one.

Thank you Liam for making this awesome blog and each one of the articles.
Thanks for everyone who contributes in some way on the website and Linux community as a whole!
Let's hope the next year brings more improvements for Linux gaming and some barriers like EAC are lowered!
Good wishes for everyone!

There's something I still don't get about this websites. I really, really love these deals, specially now that I'm broke thanks to someone's recommendations since I got on the GOL website... (EHM LIAM, I know you already know but this is always a joke, I can't live without this website ).
But now being serious, what I don't really get... How are these deals even possible? How can be the websites about these deals legit? I mean 3€ for 3 games that cost around 70€... What the heck!
Anyone with a good theory or knowledge about how this exactly works? I'd really love to know how can I be paying an incredible deal for this amount. I can't believe it, getting games at this price is a no-brainer. Where the heck is the catch?

I've never been more thankful on the effort put by everyone to make gaming on Linux a reality. Specially Valve. They got a huge chunk on my heart for granted. I still remember the old days on Ubuntu 6.06 trying to execute everything through terminal in order to have a single game running. Not anymore. xD
My next hope is something to bring down the barrier that the bloody EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) is giving us once for all. Darn, most of the games work but that's the thing blocking us from playing.
Valve.

Quoting: Liam DaweYep, definitely was uBlock Origin doing its stuff. Disabled and liked now. :tongue:Quoting: Minux(By the way Liam, can't like this article, is the feature disabled?)No, it's probably browser plugins blocking it. We have this come up now and then, because a whole bunch of privacy / adblockers seems to wipe away anything "like" related, I think it mostly comes from people believing it's tied to social networks and stuff but all our stuff is 100% built-in.
Thank you both :-)

Maybe I've never really used enough features about editing audio. But is it possible that I've never experienced any issue or at least noticed anything?
I've always heard that audio on Linux wasn't perfect. Maybe since I've been for so long without Windows I can't notice at all what goes wrong. Could that be?
By the way, I always love these kind of things. Now we need "Wayland 1.0"!
