Developers have direct contact with Codeweavers and the game receives a small amount of testing on Linux before updates. As far as I know *no one else* performs routine testing on Proton, Embark Studios are the exception here. In an alternative future the game would break much more often and get fixed in a longer period.

%1 figure most definitely includes consoles. The Finals is more popular on consoles than PC as far as I know, especially on Xbox.
