Looks like 515.49.14 is not added yet, last commit is a week old. If you want the Stutter Free Experience, check this thread: (follow 1st post or the video in one of the following posts)

AFAIK you don't have to disable Steam shader cache anymore but I may be wrong.

SteamOS 3.4 Beta to update the Arch Linux base, new Steam Deck updates out now

Quoting: slaapliedjeI knew this would be the case, and maintain they should have just stuck with Debian.IMO sticking to Debian is not possible because new features necessary to make games run (ie. Halo Infinite) and performance improvements first make it to Arch Linux and actually Valve is the one on the front developing these features so Arch naturally makes sense. I don't mean updating every minute like real Arch installations but having an Arch base but doing what Manjaro couldn't: dodging and circumventing breakages while delivering new features by holding base a few days back, not waiting 6 months like current situation.

Quoting: slaapliedjeBut then I also tried the Deck UI on a desktop, and.. well I need a Steam Controller 2 so it has the extra Steam / ... buttons on it :)FYI: PS and Xbox buttons on respective controllers supplement the Steam button. And for (...) functionality, hit Steam button anywhere and navigate to battery icon with up and right buttons on DPad. (or analog stick)

Quoting: pbI can't wait for a proper "normal pc" release of SteamOS. My self-made-steam-machine went from SteamOS 1 to SteamOS 2 to GamerOS to EndeavourOS but it pines for SteamOS 3 all the time.If the GPU is AMD, SteamOS 3 or one of its derivates (Holo, Winesap...) should work fine.

Quoting: michaLove they approach they are taking. <3Even their FAQ says so!
Very much Red Hat style.
Are other successful commercial open source companies using a similar philosophy?
Yes, W4 is deeply inspired by the original Red Hat business model. This model consists in providing commercial services to complement and support a fully free and open source ecosystem. That open source ecosystem stays independent and strives from the contributions of multiple commercial actors.

H.A.W.X 2. Not really a masterpiece but Windows version is killed by DRM (entirely! Entirely as in "cannot be launched" and "delisted from Steam") so your options are to crack or emulate either Xbox 360 or PS3.
