We know Valve upstreamed drivers for everything (except controller, maybe) so it should be possible. Luke Short (dev of winesapOS) has uploaded SteamOS stuff to AUR, if you are interested.

which is exactly why I desperately want to download Ayaneo OS. SteamOS has good Steam imtegrations, but what if Aya has not only Steam but also Epic, GOG, Origin etc. integrations? What if they have created the ultimate Lutris?

For the best experience with support for VK_EXT_graphics_pipeline_library and related extensions, the latest Vulkan developer driver, currently version 515.49.06, is recommended.

Some of the people who switched to Linux in the last year have deliberately left some of their games behind because most of them worked. So we don't need every single game. IMO the only game we need is Fortnite, which will IMO come to Linux in 2024. If that single game runs on Linux reliably with higher performance compared to Windows then gamers will flock to Linux.
