I mean if they want to enforce their spyware fine but they shouldn’t be able add it post launch. Secondly, why can’t they give a launch option to disable anti cheat and thus disabling multiplayer. At least the rest of the game will be usable then.

Oh wow. I went to a LAN over the weekend and there’s only two of us that run Linux there. Had people playing finals on windows. Friend just threw it in protondb to see what state it was in. I was confident that it’ll still be borked but we were quite surprised to find it on silver. Anyways, your article confirms it. Thanks

I've yet to see any cloud game service of any kind support Firefox. Don't entirely know why.

It’s most likely that Chromium browsers have the largest market share. There isn’t much of a reason to develop for Firefox first today.

I personally can’t wait for this. I was really excited when they added the EAC .so file because I realised that they were trying to make this happen, even if they did break the game as a result. Hopefully gets sorted soon. Good to know they’re working on it

It is such a good game. I’m going to be urging my buddies that didn’t play it on PlayStation to pick it up! Hopefully the Nvidia related bugs get patched up soon though.

I haven’t tried it at all yet because I’ve just assumed it won’t work but I’d be interesting to see if the “steering wheel detection” would assist with my Thrustmaster being a plug and play deal on Dirt Rally 2.0. Whenever I looked into it , it appeared the Logitech wheels have good Linux support but the Thrustmasters don’t

Me too. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be happening.

It will, just need faith in it. They clearly tried to deliver at least part of it but managed to do a classic 343 and not test the patch before publishing it and then causing a big headache. They’ll eventually sort it! I’m just hoping it’ll be ready before the summer bank holiday 😂
