ahhhhhh yes the ol "everybody hates us, quick, change the name! Nobody will figure that out!"
but yes I agree, I hope the employees can have some semblance of stability. Must be just nerve wracking working for an embracer controlled entity.

I normally see the word "deckbuilder" and my eyes glaze over and I just skip over to whatever the next article is. But this game for whatever reason has me interested. Going to try out the demo now!

I have 2fa on my steam account and I've never used sms. I use the app which does a popup. Seems fine to me.
Anything that doesn't use email/txt is great.

I don't blame her one bit. I personally loathe intuit and would never use qbo unless I was forced to. Local software is great, BUT in this case they don't make/sell/support qbd anymore right? I think so? If that's correct, then she'll eventually need to move off of it someday no matter what, so may as well just bite the bullet and go ahead and do it now?

seems to get lots of high praise...? Or maybe just do qbd in a windows10 vm? You could make her a shortcut that opens the vm and autolaunches qbd so that it would "feel" like a regular desktop app maybe.

^ Have her clients not transitioned to QBO? Or does she just use qb herself only to run her business? I myself run my llc through waveapps.com which is free and have had no issues at all for years.

Love seeing effort into campaigns like this! I do wish this page was a lot better though:

For an "average person" this is not helpful at all.
There needs to be step by step instructions. Telling someone to "go search for stuff yourself" will probably do more harm than good. People will see endless arguments about what is the best distro, vastly different suggestion listicles, etc... And then they will just give up.
If there could be like three suggestions:
option1 - the beginner - mint - here's a step by step
option2 - the intermediate - fedora - here's a step by step
option3 - the advanced - arch - here's a step by step
that's just a guess off the top of my head, but that would actually be helpful.

Totally agree with others: they should just DO protondb. Either buy them and just take it over as official, or do exactly the same. The current "deck verified" is totally worthless. I absolutely love steam, but this whole thing is such a self inflicted wound, I hate to see them keep doing it. Cmon valve, do better!
