Humble Choice for April 2025 has a quality list of games

Picked this one up simply for the 1000xResist game. I've had that on my wishlist forever and it's an $8 savings getting this bundle JUST for that one game. Awesome!

edit:

well I attempted to pick it up. I paid with the same cc I use for everything and it was not accepted by the humble website saying:

"Your Month-to-Month Plan order is being reviewed for accuracy

A member of our support team needs to verify the information and will complete the order as soon as it is resolved."

so that sucks. They must have a problem with their cc processor. That'll lose them sales for sure.

I'm amazed the lawyer snakes from big ol N haven't attacked this yet. Looks like a cool project though.

Hollow Knight: Silksong lives and it's releasing in 2025

So will this be a timed exclusive switch2 game? 2025 date is confusing because steam still has no date at all and just says "Planned Release Date: To be announced"

also, heavily skeptical of anything team cherry says. what's the vegas odds on a delay to 2026 then 2027?

Steam Deck SteamOS 3.6.24 released with fixes for Avowed and No Rest for the Wicked

I just finished Avowed on my desktop (wouldn't play a ue5 game on the deck lol) but I wonder what rendering issues they are talking about.

As with almost anything Obsidian does, I absolutely LOVED the game. The ending was sooooooo wonderful ... I cannot say how much I enjoyed the entire game from start to finish.

Right ... gonna stop now before I make myself sick. (lol)

poe2 was my fav crpg of the past decade or so, and now ... god damnit ... avowed is my fav fps rpg of the past decade or so. After the catastrophe that bg3's story/writing/ending was, it felt SO GOOD to play something with good writing. And this had it in droves. The world of Eora is just SO FASCINATING. And this game expands on that world so well.

Now, after looking here:

HOLY SHIT there's so many! Which do you run with @essoje ? Looks like only one faction mod so far has been updated for the new version.

they're going to ipo soon, so say hello to the enshittification. Even more reason for devs NOT to use this integration (I hope).

AKA all three of these ip's are dead. LOL this is going to be hilarious to watch. I haven't cared about any of these games in a LONG time so it doesn't bother me if they ruin it to death with microtransactions and shit, but for fans of these games ... ouch. hate it for ya.
