Do you know a command to skip the launcher but ensure that vulkan is chosen as the renderer? Every time I play the game I have to remember to select vulkan in the larian launcher because it defaults to dx every single time.

Challenging survival city-builder Landnama is out now

I tried the demo but uninstalled it. It's extremely punishing. If you fail, there is no way to quit and restart.

For instance, there is a "normal" tribe that I would consider the easier difficulty tribe, that has no negative attributes. So I picked that one on my first go, and failed during a winter, so that tribe is now considered dead. Not possible to quit and restart. Now I can only choose the more advanced tribes that all have positive and negative attributes, which just makes it even more complicated and difficult.

I just don't have the time for that. Sorry game. All that said, I really do think the game is made well, the art is fantastic, sound is great, and thought that went into the turns etc... All good. It's just made for people who really enjoy quite the challenge!

This is wonderful to take so much feedback, and then re-release an improved demo. Legend developers.

Quoting: bisbyxI wanted a mindless diving game. The restaurant minigame had enough complexity (or at least perceived complexity in the moment) that it made me put it down, because I didn't want to think too hard. Haven't picked it back up yet, though I intend to eventually.
Oh just wait, at some point the game also gives you an entire fish farm to manage as well! It's a whole different area and interface, etc... That kinda bummed me out as well. I really don't want that, but now I guess I have to manage it?

Also, I had NO IDEA I was wasting a ton of food each night by not selecting an amount of 1 for every single dish and then enabling "autofill" or whatever that option is. Very poorly explained. I could have made SO much more money, but oh well.

If you like retro fps (I dislike the term boomer shooter) then this is a must buy! I'm having an absolutely blast in the game. PURGE THE HERETIC

Quoting: HJThat isn't Prey though, it's Prey (2017)
I honestly think this idiotic naming convention is one of the big reasons it had mediocre sales. It was an AMAZING game (still my all time fav from Arkane) but I think a ton of people just thought it was a remake of the 2006 game. The former game was average at best, but when people saw the same name and looked at a screenshot and saw it was an fps, they just passed on it.

Very exciting! I love the openmw project. This might actually convince me to get another playthrough started. I'd love to experience the Tamriel content.
