Chucklefish, not content with not being able to actually make their Terraria in Space game Starbound actually live up to expectations, decides to instead just publish someone else's Terraria.
That being said, Pugstorm did absolutely do a good job on Core Keeper and I have no doubt this will be quite good, I just have my misgivings with Chucklefish, the company.

Funko issue a statement about the itch.io take-down, while also apparently calling itch founder's mom

Honestly beyond it being weird, it's just plain unprofessional. Itch has a Contact Us page, they could have reached out on Twitter, Facebook, but somehow they decided they needed to call Leafo personally, something that is not an option that Leafo has chosen to provide publicly. Imagine for a moment if Valve decided to call you, personally, on your phone, to discuss something, as an example.

Quoting: SalvatosI’m guessing whatever Funko or their agents did to find Leaf Corcoran’s phone number, they landed on an outdated one from when he still lived with his parents, or found something like a WHOIS record where he deliberately used theirs to obfuscate his own. As fun as the sensationalistic tweet/news title is, I doubt they went out of their way to call her rather than him.Title is accurate, it's not saying they called Leafo's mother on purpose, it's the fact that they ended up calling her at all and, seemingly, when the person on the other end picked up and went "(Leafo's Mother's name here) residence.", they didn't immediately go "Oh jeez, sorry, we got the wrong number."

As a fan of Pacific Drive (despite it repeatedly having issues with AMD drivers for some reason) and Dredge, not to mention the long developed Beware [External Link], more games where the player has a vehicle as a bubble between them and unspeakable horrors please!
2K Launcher is finally no more - that's at least one publisher making things better for gamers

Quoting: t3gHaving to launch an additional launcher to play a game on Steam (a launcher) is silly. While some companies like 2K are backing off, Sony is being more aggressive with theirs. It would be nice if we could optionally login to Sony/EA/Ubisoft through the native ingame menu for multiplayer instead of running another Electron app in the background.Something, something, shareholder meetings, something, something, number go up.
Sony say their PSN account requirement on PC is so you can enjoy their games 'safely'

I've never been of the crowd that get annoyed with registering more accounts (though no shade thrown to those who do), but what honestly bugs me the most about this whole ordeal is that it's caused folks in a lot of places to be completely denied access to these games on PC. Like, it made some sense when the explanation was something to the effect of "you need to be able to buy a Playstation" or whatever it was, but really even when that was the case it still didn't make much sense. If you can build a PC and run Steam on it, there should be no reason why you can't buy a Sony game and register a Playstation account, it's baffling.

I'm a bit confused, you pointed out that it doesn't have a "built-in battery" but also said that it can do 12 hours on battery via bluetooth.
As for recommendations for folks, I'll repeat the one I shared a few months back when this was initially covered and say that the Gulikit KK3 Pro offers multi platform support (Switch, Android, PC and their low latency dongle), decent battery life, gyro, rumble, and most importantly hall effect sticks and triggers. The Pro version also comes with attachable back paddles in two styles. It's not necessarily cheap, but versus potentiometer joysticks, hall effect sensors are more likely to give you a longer use period without worrying about stick drift.

I've been a fan of Siri and Mechanism (Deckmate originally) since he put out the add on of the same name a couple years ago. Such a handy accessory, and the CableMate is lovely too. While I don't plan to pick this one up for a good bit, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Inventory Sling Bag for anyone who wants an upgrade to the baseline Steam Deck case. If nothing else if you're looking for a laugh feel free to take a look around the Mechanism site, they have a habit of including at least one gag with every item.
