Much lighter than Deus Ex, given that the latter one works like a charm on my box (and I completed it, while it is sadly too short)

From campaign 2 things get locked while you don't know what happens... Well, due to this you don't know how to continue. Looks this game is like Simutrans, but unsure...

Graphics do not look sooo beautiful for such a demanding game. I have the system requirements (except for my CPU which may be stronger but unsure as it is an i7-4790) but well, I'll wait a bit before buying it.

If it is released, I buy it day one. But I also think money is the limiting factor on Aspyr side.

Why Linux games often perform worse than on Windows

I don't mind to have 60FPS on Linux rather than 70FPS on Windows. As long as I can decently play on Linux this is really fine for me. And in term of disk access Windows absolutely sucks, whereas Linux shines. The same applies for multitasking, as I like having many apps opened while playing.

And yup, lack of driver optimization for specific games can have a huge impact. Linux graphics drivers actually look much more like professional series drivers, i.e. focusing more on stability rather than performance.

@Ehvis -> you still have challenges with big cities with circulation management. This is actually the big deal to manage in the game, not money (as long as you follow demands). If circulation is KO -> money loss.

Honestly the main difference on civ5 graphics between linuw and windows comes from the water which is much more beautiful on wincrap. But I prefer playing on linux even with less shiny water unless I play a network game with a friend who did not purify his computer.

And now waiting for civ6...

I'd buy it even in order to help them debug the code if necessary (ie I'd be able to give them bug reports and so on). Buying a beta on that game does not annoy me if it is to help the community.
