Had this on my wishlist since maybe 2016 after missing out on the kickstarter, and got gifted a preorder of it two years ago. Pretty excited for release! Hope it lives up to expectations. Can't wait to be too scared to play.
Humble Choice for January 2023 has DOOM Eternal, a good month for Steam Deck

Got Eternal the first sale after release, and unfortunately I happened to buy OlliOlli World during the winter sale last week, but the rest of them look interesting enough. Also comes with a 60% off voucher for both DLCs within humble store, but I think it's only maybe £0.20 cheaper than buying it on steam - and more expensive than getting the Year One Pass.
Honestly most of the headliners I either own or am not interested in with Humble Choice, but helps me to find new indies. Often I'll enjoy a game from it that I would not have bought otherwise.
Still salty they dropped any linux builds and support a little while back though. I've seen some people have Humble Games Collection working under Linux but I am yet to get any progress with that myself.

My game of the year is honestly Dying Light 2. Came out at the perfect time for me and resonated with me.
I've spent most of the rest of the year (re?)discovering many indies on my deck. While I prefer the desktop experience especially for bigger games, the deck has really brought me a new love for short, immersive indies. Katana Zero is likely my favourite so far.
Anyone got any recommendations for short-ish indies on the deck? Have been trying to get through my backlog, but too easy to get addicted to endless roguelikes at the moment.

Very happy with my deck, and so, so excited for a Steam Controller 2. I've been using the deck to get through my backlog of games - while it can handle the heavier games, I have so many short indies that I'm loving playing through at the moment. Florence, Inmost, Disc room and Katana Zero have been my highlights on it so far.

Received mine yesterday and installed it last night, coming from a 2080 Super I got second hand earlier this year (had a terrible, terrible cooler too). So happy with the 7900XTX so far, though only had time for a few games. Plug & play for the most part, though Darktide is borked for me at the moment.
I also got mine through OCUK, sorry to hear yours won't be arriving for a while! Will you be doing a review of it when you receive it?
