Prison Architect Release Alpha 32, Will Fully Launch Later This Year

I put off playing this because the tutorial was really terrible last time I checked. My brother got really addicted to it when it was in very early alpha though, so I know it's a good game, but yeah I'll wait for the tutorial (get frustrated easily).

Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth Linux Patch Now Out

This game was a huge let down (coming from a long-time fan of the series). I don't think any amount of DLC or patches will fix it, it's pretty much a lost cause for me.

Larian Studios Working On A New Game While Divinity: Original Sin Is Still Not On Linux

As much as I really want this game, I'm not sure if them working on something else really means it will slow down the Linux port.

It's unlikely that the people working on the port are also working on this new game, so doubt it would slow down it's release. If I'm completely wrong in my optimism though, then this really sucks.

New Linux Gaming Survey For May
1 May 2015 at 5:13 pm UTC

Quoting: tmtvl"Did you exclusively buy Linux games last month?"
"Yes/No"

How about "I didn't buy any games last month"?
Unless activating my copy of Pillars of Eternity counts, which I backed way back when.

EDIT: Also, a number of games run better under Wine then natively on my system, take that for what it's worth.
I should probably clarify for these types of questions that you can SKIP questions which don't apply to you. For data purposes, it's better if people do that instead of a separate option. I'll make sure to clarify that underneath those questions which might not apply to everyone.

New Linux Gaming Survey For May

Yeah... Come to think of it I probably would have chosen that answer too :P

Also, if anyone feels like posting this on Reddit, it would be a big help. Basically, the months when it gets posted there's always a lot more responses, which in turn also changes the demographic of the sample (ie, not all the people there will read GOL, not all of them will be as enthusiastic about Linux or games as people here, or vice-versa, etc) so ideally the survey needs to be posted there every month for us to get accurate results.

New Linux Gaming Survey For May

I added the option now. I generally don't like adding stuff after publishing it, but considering we have 90 responses and had 2000 last month and the unique questions aren't there to be compared month-by-month, I'll make the exception since it's a good suggestion :).

Shadow Of Mordor Could Release For Linux Soon

Yeah, that's a pretty good assumption and it appearing in the library has usually been a sign of it being right round the corner (at least in the next couple of weeks).

Either way, waiting for it to be official to buy :).

Star Wars: Tie Fighter Special Edition & Star Wars X-Wing Special Edition On GOG For Linux

If the new Battlefront is good when it's released, that would be my dream port on Linux. Shame it's EA though which means it will probably never happen :(

Bioshock was such a good port that I don't mind another one from them, as long as they keep the quality the same.
