Please make it stop - Google Chrome to be reimagined with AI

Would have been funny if they used AI generated video in that trailer to make poeple talking about how good AI is.
Guess they thought using AI would make it look bad.
I think theres some irony there.

Unless they are AI.
Hmmmm.
They do seem quite lifeless but you can pay real actors to do that too.

Definitely not touching chrome again.

Palworld 1.0 arrives next year with a huge update and plans to fix all the jank

I feel the game is still very alpha and lacks some good structure.
Hope they keep working on the gameplay and overall game feel as I feel its severely lacking in structure.

I'd be down for a creature redesign model wise and some visual growth elements to replace the lack of evolutions.
Maybe more ocerall personality too.

They are good to their community so far, hope they keep at it and dont get lost into the "just stuff in more assets" trend for updates.

No lore? But I wanna crash into a yeti.
The demo was pretty good and relaxing (ran great on deck) but I hope they push the limits more in the final release and future updates.
I just like the fact theres a first person view for driving with.

I'd love to see it have seasons and be a little animal crossing engaging.
Er old animal crossing not the new one with all the grind and animals defaulting to only happy.

Just wanna drive and get to know the locals, and the spooks.

Game Settings is a mystery adventure about a journalist being sent a strange console

An interesting take on the "strange unknown game" cocnept.
Though it might seem a bit silly and less mysterious with all the custom homebrew games and consoles about.

Hope they do well and make a sequel I think they could carry this concept further.

eXtremeRate reveal new Steam Deck back shells with interchangeable back buttons
28 Aug 2025 at 9:44 pm UTC

I have a smoke black full case from a couple years back and never got around to installing it but I did contemplate just installing the back half.

Trouble is the front half of the original shell came damaged new so some screws are already shot or some peices already snapped, which is why I opted for a full shell replacement as daunting as it sounds.

I think I'd like a little more to a back plate alone for that price but it doesnt look bad.
Now if they could just offer a forest green, not lime, not emerald green, a nice dark forest green heh.

Glad they didnt stop makong shell replacements tpo, thought that would wind down a bit with new cobaoles popping up.

Valve reveal new Steam store menu and enhanced search now in Beta

Gimmie a 3d virtual store to browse games in.
Complete with an AI clerk who has really bad reccomendations and fear for their job if they dont reccommend the latest shovelware like its a big deal.

Yeah maybe this is better but Ibdo tire the flat menus.
Least its getting better overtime and I like to be able to search for developers and publishers more.
Now if we could just use publishers and devs as a tag for my collections in my library automatically instead of having to build it myself but maybe Im lazy.

Humble Choice is getting another price increase
26 Jun 2025 at 10:19 pm UTC Likes: 1

If we could exchange unwanted games for store credit for buying bundles and other deals then I wouldnt mind but an increase with nothing new to make the deal feel just a tad better is kinda lazy.

I end up with a lot of game duplicates and sit on keys awhile which sometimes expire with an expiration date added out of no where roght before it expires.

If its gotta increase then they gotta improve on something.

Plus the lack of choice kibd of cannibalizes their regular bundles since there are sometimes duplicates, sometimes with the dlc thw choice version was missing.

Fanatical's build a bundles work out for me better these days.

Yet I kept subscribing cause I want something to look forward to each month beh.
Maybe time to leave the subscription.

Supply chain issues are making the Steam Deck OLED go out of stock

Dang was hoping to upgrade from the LCD one soon and I waited too long.
Least my current one still works if not a tad clunky.
Oh well, just gotta wait it out.
Maybe not a bad time to look for some linux laptop sales in the mean time.
