Incredible top-down-shooter Brigador gets a huge free enhancement

The game was too tough or rather too fast for me. It seems the official workaround is to slow down game speed which didn't seem very convincing.

Richard Stallman and the Free Software Foundation speak up on Stallman's return

Seems like they tried to silently bring Stallman back without anybody noticing. Whatever they had in mind, they definitely can't handle news and press very well. For an organization that is mostly representing that is not acceptable. This is a disgrace for everybody who believes in free software and writes free code. I will call it Open Source exclusively from now on.

Reminds me of Alien or Natural Selection. The destruction looks satisfying.

The developer of Rise to Ruins is absolutely mad and has secured funding for their games

Sorry, I don't get it. Not using KickStarter or a Publisher is mad? He is indie, that's nothing special or am I missing something?

TUXEDO announce the InfinityBook S 14 with Intel Tiger Lake and Intel Xe

I bought a TUXEDO Book XP1610 and have really bad experience with built quality (the keyboard keys losen on press, not okay for a 2k€ notebook) and Linux support. NVIDIA drivers in their repositories were always outdated and external monitor breaks on every update. Their support was also not helpful at all: they only tell you to reformat your system and downgrade distribution when problems arise. Is the Infinity series any better? Otherwise, my next laptop will most likely be Lenovo Thinkpad again.

A cancelled old RTS named 'Hard Vacuum' gets revived with OpenRA

Rusted Warfare used the same Open Source sprites, at least some of them. And yes, the original pixel artists also stole from himself. The cubes you can collect are also directly from Tyrian even using a different palette.

Only 3 things are from Tyrian https://github.com/OpenHV/OpenHV/tree/master/sources/artwork/Tyrian [External Link] most of it is actually the Hard Vacuum graphics which are surprisingly complete. Try guessing which building/unit are pixeled by us. :)

OpenRA has been updated with more Dune 2000 missions and plenty more

Quoting: KunamashinaNo OpenSUSE rpm available with the latest build ... pitty
It is now available on the Open Build Service [External Link].

Sorry for the delay. The new ModSDK [External Link] created some technical challenges.

The original 'POSTAL' is now open source under the GPL

Looks like it doesn't come with any cross-platform build system. I only see MSVC project files. Thought Loki software ported it properly to Linux already. In this stage this is nothing more than a dumping ground for old untidy code uploaded as click bait for "news" articles.
