Everyone who wants to do ranked matchmaking now has to have a verified phone number on their Steam account. Accounts cannot share a number and free services available online for it are blocked, so this will help reduce troll accounts for sure.No it won't. If anyone have more than one account, they can easy disconnect from one account and connect it for second and again again and again. This takes only 1-2 minuts. So I think they not fighting with players who playing on not your's MMR , but fight with bots and farms of boosting account and items farms in China and Russia.

Raven's Cry is buggy. True. But Vendetta Curse of Raven's Cry is much better now. Do you know why? So Reality Pump worked on the original, promising - Sacrilegium game. However, the publisher TopWare decided that the Octan Games studio (finland) was not working well with the production of Raven's Cry - ordered by TopWare. So TopWare moved the project to the part made to Reality Pump, which caused them to abandon their existing projects such as Sacrilegium and focus on Raven's Cry.
In spite of all, they had very little time to repair the game, the publisher was still on the move, and they had to finish "not their game" - note that it was not an easy task, especially when the majority of the crew left the newly created CD Projekt RED division. In spite of all, they had to release the game as it was because the contracts they had committed were almost bankrupt. Hence such quality. Vendetta, on the other hand, works pretty well.

Java based game. If we download non-steam version for Linux, it download only .jar file, so we need install Java (Oracle or OpenJDK).
If we download Steam version, game come with bundled Java version from Oracle (don't know if this is legall - bundled proprietary java) but at latest it working out of box on Linux.
First launch on Ubuntu 17.04 Unity, it launch in windowed mode and half of game screen is cut off. Check in option - fullscreen mode is enabled, native resolution also set. WTF? Reboot game. Still the same. Uncheck fullscreen mode, and back again to fullscreen mode fix it.

Appimages is great things (I think is better than snap and flatpack) and I use few app as appimage and not have any issues with it, but some people can make big miaste with it. If they use update Arch, or fresh build on Mandriva or newly Ubuntu to make own app in Appimage, they can broke compatibility with other little older distro. Solution is - always build appimage on oldest disto u have, like oldest supporting ubuntu, never in new releases.

Quoting: dubigrasuIs simply reason. They use electon and build binary as appimage. Appimage is building on upstream. So if they build it from .deb pack for Ubuntu 16.04 - so app can work only on the same version or new build of needed library. If you try launch it for e.g on 14.04 app simply won't work, because some of needed libs is older than use in currecnt build of appimage.Quoting: liamdaweIn the BPM mode indeed, but in desktop mode is basically Debian stable, where I do have some other clients installed (basically itchio and Gamejolt).Quoting: dubigrasuAlas, for all the good words about SteamOS the Beamdog client doesn't work on it. (older libstdc++.so.6).Their games are built to work on SteamOS of course, but their client is not. SteamOS isn't a place where you're meant to go around installing other clients ;)
Or leaving aside SteamOS, the client doesn't work on Debian stable.

Good job Feral.
Now you can port The Wi†cher 3 for Linux using Vulkan. End of excuses. End. I know that Witcher 3 in OpenGL would be very CPU bound, so it would work poorly then, now that you have the Vulkan API, you can do it: D
So please Feral port The Wi†cher 3 to Linux

You will want to force your CPU into high performance mode for Vulkan games on Linux

Quoting: LintuxVP want earn Money.... What a shame!
I buyed it twice, but i buy it a third Time. I want more Linux Ports. And i want a Finish Arma 3 Port. THX VP
Quoting: nadrolinuxII fully understand that VP want to receive some money for works related to porting this game and it's ok for me, but instead of 2 separate games I would prefer that there is just one entry for Arma: CWA on Steam and support for two additional platforms (Linux and macOS in this case) will be available in some form of DLC for existing game.We don't know for sure if this is decision VP or main developer/publisher Bohemia. We don't know if VP gets money from every Linux sale or they get money only once for porting it to Linux.

If anyone want NVENC or VAAPI in FFMPEG and in your system repo is only basic FFMPEG without this. You can use static build daily git from here: http://johnvansickle.com/ffmpeg/ [External Link]
and this build have both nvenc and vaapi. So you don't need compile it from source :)
