Quoting: DamonLinuxPLSadly TF2 is now (as many gamers reporting) broken on Linux. Look at valve github, many reports and no one from Valve carring about it. TF2 after The Tough Break for me is unplayable. Before I playing in max setting on my notebook, now I can't play even on low details. FPS drop (a lot of Linux gamers), game have micro lags (also many Linux gamers reporting) and often crashing or hanging X server.

So, maybe anyone have contact with anyone who know if or when Valve want to fix it? or how to fix it manually?
None of these things for me on both laptop and desktop. I will guess - AMD?
Runs fine for me on AMD (prop driver)

Not played in a while though

Edit:

@DamonLinuxPL
Just noticed that you use Mageia too, What driver you using ?
Yes, I use Radeon GPU. I tested it on both driver, closed source and open source with MESA, both unplayable. My laptop have Ubuntu and use HD5650M and I also tested on desktop with Megaia5 and Radeon HD5850 and is also very low playable.

Linux gamers who have issues like me have not only amd card but some also nvidia.

Look topic with performance impact: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Source-1-Games/issues/1942 [External Link]

one of few crashing topic: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Source-1-Games/issues/1951 [External Link]

also on this github we have also many with crashing, lagging and xorg hanging.

As you can see not only I have issues.

Buy games from G2A? You should just stop already, tinyBuild lost out on approx $450K of sales

Im never buying on G2A... but Im buying on Steam, GOG or Huble only cheap games or in sale. Other game in full price more than 20 euro? I prefer buying in my local country stores, box or digital version (cdp.pl, gamesrepublic, techland store or muve.pl), because Steam price calculator is unreal for my country.

Simply in Poland for new game I pay 100 złoty (polish zloty) (~22 euro) for digital key or 120 złoty (28 euro) for BOX. If I buy it on Steam, I need to pay in euros, so this same game I should pay 49 euro, so this is about 215 polish zloty.
So until steam not provide support for my currency, many gamers in my country, not bying in Steam and buying only cheap games or only in Poland stores.

I hope you understand my opinion and why people in Poland skip steam?

So maybe anyone know, If steam plans to introduce a new currency?

The Hive, a rather good looking RTS game has Linux support

Quoting: WienerWuerstelEdit: It's also the same developer that ported Painkiller HD to Linux and was/is porting Darksiders 2 to Linux, and we know what happened with the Darksiders 2 port, nothing.
No, this is not the same developer. This answer in steam community is from Reinhard Pollice, Executive Producer at Nordic Games. And person who porting Painkiller and Deadfall Adentures and almost done Darksiders is Leszek Godlewski, but he not working anymore in this company (he working in The Farm 51 when he porting Painkiller and Deadfall and next he left developer and join to publisher team Nordic games and trying port Darksider), after that he start working in The Astronaut (Wanishing of Etan Carter) and now he working in Flying Wild Hog.
