What Happens When You Request A Refund On Steam?

Quoting: d10sfanStill pretty sub-par performance on Nvidia card for Dying Light, compared to Windows. Considering how well other games work on this system, it's still the fault of the developers.
"Pretty sub-par performance" isn't broken.
I have no idea how much better it performs on windows, but in my playthrough performance wasn't an issue.
So I will rate that as working perfectly well, but with high requirements.

I have a 6 year old i7 and a gtx 970.

Quoting: Segata SanshiroEDIT: Refunding games from over 14 days ago didn't work for me... I feel like I should get my money back for Eador: Masters of the Broken World and Dying Light, since the former never ran on Linux at all (despite saying it did) and the latter is still very broken. I would re-purchase both these games if they were playable, but they're just not night now.
Dying Light isn't any more broken than that I finished it with good performance and no serious issues on linux.
This was even before the performance patch.

If you keep trying to play AAA's on linux using amd drivers, you've asked for it IMO.
It's a well known mine field because of the horrendously crappy drivers.

That said I hope amd gets their act together eventually, I'd happily buy them if they worked well, I'd even prefer them.

Logitech F310 Gamepad Review On Linux
19 May 2015 at 12:14 am UTC

I've been using ps3 controllers and F710.

My best experience is using the ps3 controllers with a mayflash ps3-to-pc adapter.
It presents the ps3 controller to the OS as a wired xbox360 controller, which are much better supported in games.

The F710 is ok as well, but it too has problems with many games compared to the ps3/mayflash combo.

The Dying Light Linux Performance Patch Is Glorious, GOL Sneak Peek

I finished the game this week, and the performance was good with a 5+ year old i7 and a newish nvidia 970.

My experience is that many complaints about linux game performance issues are exaggerated or coming from people with AMD gfx cards, which to be honest just isn't the best choice for gaming.

I finished the witcher 2 before the last patch too, using the same i7 and nvidia 560, it too was working just fine.

Prison Architect Release Alpha 32, Will Fully Launch Later This Year
7 May 2015 at 1:13 pm UTC

Prison Architect is a great game, and I agree they did the early access part perfectly.
However this also highlights what I consider an issue with early access: I feel done playing the game long before it's released.

I've been using the Truly Ergonomic keyboard since it released a few years ago (https://www.trulyergonomic.com/). It helped a lot with my hand pain, but I think it's just too small for me (I'm a stocky six foot tall human). I'm probably going to pick up a Kinesis pretty soon since the wider hand placement is my main issue with this current keyboard. Besides that I try to never use the mouse. If I do have to do some heavy mousing (*cough*working on Mac*cough*) I use the hand that has the least amount of pain (I forced myself to mouse with my non-dominant hand a few years ago to equalize the arm/hand pain). It's a constant struggle :-D.
Have you considered the ErgoDox? Its split design let you make it was wide as you want.

This War of Mine - War Child Charity DLC

Quoting: EKRboidamn.. even the indies are starting to ride the DLC milk train. At least the DLC is extremely reasonably priced.

It certainly looks like an interesting concept for a game but I don't think it is one for me. I may pick it up on super sale one day just to check it out. I wish there was a demo, who knows maybe it is a game I would be willing to shell out $20 for.

Have you put extensive time into it Liam?
It's easily worth the full price, great game.
See a "let's play" video.
