A public alpha of the 'semi-immutable' Manjaro Summit Linux is now available

Honestly, I have no concerns about Manjaro's stability. As long as I kept the AUR disabled, I never had problems with updates. I think that KDE Plasma was at its most stable and reliable for me on Manjaro.

I left Manjaro for two reasons. Manjaro's support for legacy Nvidia GPUs was really bad. They knew it and didn't care to do anything about it. More current drivers were available on other distros but not theirs. The final straw was when I heard they were planning on introducing M$ style telemetry, turned on by default.

I moved on. I have not since found a KDE Plasma distro I liked as much. Instead, I run on Xfce or Pop!_OS for my gaming.

The description makes it sound quite interesting. Couldn't they have come up with a better name, though?

Caught my interest but I don't do Early Access. Too bad they don't have a current demo available.

Boomer shooter Gravelord adds controller support and gets Steam Deck Verified

The irony here being that most gamers who play this kind of game are probably Gen X rather than Boomer!
I was going to say the same thing.

I loved the wisecracking humour of Duke Nukem 3D. The level design and the logical flow from one level to another also impressed me. If Gravelord can capture both of those aspects, it should be a great game.

It's not been made clear why it's exclusive to GOG.
Because it's a good old game ... ?

Not my thing but, after 9 years, to be still giving it so much love and attention is impressive. My applause to the development studio, Hello Games, for the great post-release support.

Impressive crowdfunding results. May their game do as well as Palworld but escape Nintendo's litigious attentions.

Thanks for the interview, Liam and Michele. It piqued my interest enough that I've added the game to my wishlist.

HP are interested in making a SteamOS handheld as the Windows experience sucks

Wow. Such hostility. 20 to 25 years ago when I sold their computer and printer products, the HP brand had a good name. Admittedly, I stopped paying attention after I closed my business. What did HP do that so badly damaged their reputation and the confidence in their brand?

They weren't the only one playing that game with printer and ink pricing, after all. I sold plenty of third-party refill kits as a result.

Based off the reputation I remembered, I would have figured their interest in SteamOS was good news.
