Prism Launcher for Minecraft Java has a nice bug-fix release out

Quoting: Liam DaweHaven't had a chance to try it yet but it's here https://modrinth.com/modpack/deckpack [External Link] and seems it hasn't been updated for a while.
This actually kind of sucks to hear as I was considering checking it out, I guess I'll just stick with using Steam input for my control mapping for Minecraft. More flexible to go that route anyways if you want to get into your more usual modpacks. Here recently yeeted off my modded instances between lack of playing them and the fact between All The Mods 8 and Better Minecraft Fabric they where consuming like 8GB or better for something I was barely touching anyways. But Steam Input mapping was a life saver in both packs.

Thanks for the heads up I pretty much sit on my Prime free trials until a game I want comes up on prime gaming. Needless to say I've claimed it.

Dwarf Fortress releases December 6 on Steam and itch.io, Native Linux support later

Well I can deal with the lack of Linux support on the Steam version for a while just to simply use it as a way to send Tarn some money again. I know a Linux build for the Steam version is really high on the priority list for Tarn him self in part because some of the largest continued donors he's had over the years are Linux users. But the delay doesn't surprise me as the initial Linux port work was actually done by some one else in the first place but the Steam builds are going to have a slightly different build chain so it might take Tarn a bit to get it all sorted out.

Valve dev understandably not happy about glibc breaking Easy Anti-Cheat on Linux

Quoting: TheSHEEEPAlso, so what if they did that 20 years ago?
Somehow, EAC and a bunch of others still ended up using that function. Probably looked something up online, copied the function, it worked and that's it. Or had auto-complete suggest something, or whatever.
You can't expect programmers to double-check every single function they use for possible deprecation, that's absurd.
Oh that's easy to explain the DT_GNU_HASH function isn't as well documented according to what several devs have said. To the point where I've seen several point out some aspects of it are basically only documented via the mailing list and that's just bad look no matter how you slice it when talking bout something as core as a C library.

I might at a later date switch my info over to the Deck as it is what I'm mostly playing games on since I got it. Gonna leave it on my main tower for a while longer until I decide if I'm going to go through and remove a ton of my installed games or not. Good chance I'll eventually switch over to my Deck for nearly all of my gaming but not quite yet as for one thing I can easily hook my HOTAS into my tower to play Elite at 4K which is what I've been playing the most the last few months as far as a single title goes.

Quoting: BotonoskiI already had maybe half the DLC and the game, but I went and bought the pack anyways. Anybody want my unused Steam keys? It's a giveaway I guess, one man's trash is another man's treasure. I'll PM the keys to the first taker.
I guess if you want to hand out your extra keys I'll take them as I've not got much of the DLC for the game yet. All I have right now is After Dark DLC wise.

GOG attempt to bring customers back with a revival of Good Old Games

I know their shift away from older PC titles is a big part of why I personally stopped using them as at that point they basically became Steam competitor with only the DRM Free thing going for them after that happened. Now that being said I still end up buying off of them as they have digital distribution rights for a fair bit of older notable titles. But for anything newer if I really want DRM free I check Itch first for indie games now days as much more pleasant of a platform to deal with on Linux.

DEMON'S TILT gets updated for Steam Deck to solve graphical issues

This is free on EGS at the moment, I claimed it last night and all ready played a few rounds. Pretty good table so far managed to break 6 mil on my second play but could really use a weekly leaderboard as the all time score board has such astronomically high scores even on the EGS version (Note the game might actually have a shared scoreboard across store fronts) that most have no chance in breaking them.
