I have an idea for a small game, so I'll try to make something this year too. It usually doesn't amount to much though, so I'm keeping my expectations low.

Quoting: GoboI like what I've seen so far, but t
Any recommendations for copyleft tilemaps and spritesheets other than kenney.nl and opengameart.org? Should I pick up a cheap Wacom tablet or are there better alternatives?
Those are my go-tos, so I'd be interested to know that as well. I was looking around for some 9 slice tilemaps for autotiles the other day, but I couldn't find much, so I'm thinking of making something with Inkscape instead.

I gave it a quick try this weekend, and it seems good. Couldn't figure out how to start a new level after I finished the first one though.

To be frank with you: A lot of it will depend on what our Steam wishlist activity looks like.

I know some of you don't like this quirky feature, but if you're using it and want to have that game...
Since it actually has Linux system requirements, I have no qualms about adding it to my wishlist this time.

Quoting: NezchanStill waiting for one of these game managers to have Itch integration.
That would be neat if it can also filter by native Linux games. The itch app has unfortunately become quite cumbersome to use, since it just lists everything you own, which can be a lot of Windows games if you bought any of the for charity mega bundles.

Quoting: GamewizardI've been thinking about tracking down a used i7 machine or something similar and sending it Tarn's way. I might email him here soon about it.
I wonder if I would be worthwhile to pitch in together and buy them a cheap computer with Linux pre-installed. Have it ship directly to the developers from a store in their country to cut shipping costs.

When started reading, first thing that come to my mind was to gift it to my girlfriend... Are we that old?
Yes.

There's two difficulty modes, a normal mode where you're given small hints when you pick up objects you need and no timer and the extreme mode that has you solve rooms against a clock which certainly increases the pressure.
I wish there was a mode where you were given no hints, but also didn't have to deal with the time pressure.
