Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams Is Set To Be Released For Linux This Month

Quoting: SkullyHow is it far-fetched?

It's not far-fetched that he's the one doing the port, but that's a common idiom, so it could relate to pretty much anything. Especially since the actual wording there isn't made to be ambiguous. Now if he had left out "D3DX Mesh" from that comment I agree that it would have sounded more like an actual hint.

I have no idea but I'm a sucker for far-fetched conspiracies. ;)

I played it a bit in my dual-booting days and it's a great game with beautiful visuals and very smooth mechanics. Really looking forward to this one! :)

Empire: Total War Available Now For Linux - Conquer Both On Land And Sea

Bought the game too, even though it's probably not my kind of game. Would love to see games like Unmechanical, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and A Story About My Uncle get ported, but they're probably too niche.

Quoting: StianTheDarkLimbo just better graphics? I'll pass.

I don't recall there being much in the way of combat in LIMBO?

One of my favorites this year, Monochroma, also opted for a mostly monochromatic aesthetic, and I think there's room for more in the same style as long as it fits with the overall theme of the game.

EDIT: Got ninja'd by Liam. ;)

Quoting: ad1217Just got it, and really like the mechanics! Thanks for pointing this out!

Yeah, me too. :) Reminds me a bit of VVVVVV with its endless vertical tunnels.

I've also gotten confirmation from the developer now that DRM free versions will be uploaded to Humble Bundle and Desura soon.

Would have loved to see that but I'm always busy that time of day. Is there much to do in the game so far?

That would be a dream true and pretty much the only AAA game I have any interest in whatsoever except Age of Mythology and the LEGO games.

The Funding Crowd 40

Yeah, InnerSpace looks great. I don't think I've ever pledged for so many of the games that have been written up for TFC. I guess it's a good thing for my wallet that December traditionally is a slower month in crowd-funding. There's already a couple of interesting campaigns for next time though.
