Will we see an apology from EA for their terrible work responding to the support tickets? Probably not.
They really showed how bad their support is, just a bot replying that they "Looked into it".
Really show that they don't care about their players/customers. They are still one of the few launcher I see needing a fix every few proton updates.

if $PLAYER_IS_BANNED

echo "After thoroughly investigating your account and concern, we again found that we actioned your account correctly after..."

The Steamdeck Verified program really need some improvement, as right now it seems performance are not really taken into account (despite having a checkmark for it).
So far my experience with BG3 is mixed. The controller experience is quite good, but the performance and battery life was not really good. I decided to lock the game at 20fps. It's not the best, but the game do not suffer from it gameplay wise, and at least I can get around 3 hours of playtime now.
I hope FSR 2.2 will help improve battery life and the general visual fidelity of the game, as on desktop it's stunning.
I haven't encountered bugs, but I don't have a lot of playtime so it might be why.

Never looked into Baldur's Gate but the game look nice. I will wait to see how the games actually run on the SD (Because no overlay on the screenshot, and it's still a post from someone who want you to get the game  )

Quoting: WoodlandorI have fond memories of playing Baulders Gate when it first came out.Now you open the box and get a piece of paper with a Steam code
When I got it home and opened the box and saw it was 5 CDs
That was complete craziness at the time lol

Tried it on the Steamdeck during lunch break :
Going to the lowest settings with FSR 2.1 at quality, I get around 40FPS and it doesn't look that bad. I'm so far happy with it, even if there is a few bugs, mainly on HUD elements stuck on the screen (For example, a few tips where stuck on screen and I had to go back to the main menu and back in game to fix it)

I have been craving for a good mech game, and I hope AC6 can scratch this itch! If they are trying to have an experience on the SD as smooth as Elden Ring, I really think it's gonna be great!

Will you be picking it up too?Already pre-ordered it on Fanatical (I know, pre-order bad). I'm very hyped by this game. Never got to play the other one when they were still "recent", but gave a try to AC3 and I loved it (Even if the default controls are... specials ).

I was waiting for a long time for a R&C game to release on PC, and my dream finally come true! I hope it plays well on the Steamdeck, it would be a banger for the lunch breaks
But I will mostly be playing on my desktop anyway, even bought a DS5 just for it, I'm surprised how plug and play it was on my PC, even the tactile pad was working as a mouse out of the box!

Quoting: zany130The dock is able to do 4k 120hz, the Steamdeck can't, but you can use something else on the dock for that output :tongue:JSAUX also mention the 12 in 1 supports 4K@120Hz, providing that one only HDMI or DP port is used.I wonder how they got 4k 120 working through HDMI last I checked, you would need HDMI 2.1 for that which doesn't work on the AMD Linux driver
