New Minecraft Game Announced Coming From Telltale Games, Linux Status Unknown

Back then, I found some interresting discussions threads with some members of the Netflix support staff who told directly that there was no Linux/MAC support because of M$.

Neflix on PS4 and MAC? Until recently it was impossible. Android and IOS are competitors in the market of the mobile device where M$ has a ±3% marketshare... They are not in a Monopolistic position to oppose anybody and if Netflix wants to take it's share of this new market, they had no choice but to drop the limitations. We just benefited from that.

Quoting: KristianNetflix has all to do with M$... I don't know if it's still the case but they used to be a major shareholder in Netflix. M$ bux.Quoting: MohandevirSince Microsoft is involved, just forget about it, it's all over. What does MS have to do with Netflix?
They'll probably make sure it doesn't happen, like they did with Netflix and MechWarrior Online, and, and, and...
They dropped Netflix limitations because of all the mobile devices that required it and it's on a field where they already lost the battle, anyway...
Else, M$ doesn't like fair competition...
Also don't Mac, PS4, iOS and Android count as competitors? Heck this doesn't look to be coming to Microsofts own mobile platform at all... it seems it will be exclusively available on competeting platforms!

Windows Games On Linux, WINE & PlayOnLinux

The only game I play, using PoL is World of Tanks. I find the script a good start to easily install the game and then tweak it to have the best Wine version and entries in the wine registry.
For someone new tho Wine, PoL is a great and easy start, but you must know that it might not be the best setup for your game. Often it's a good basis to work with.

As you wish. As I said it was only a suggestion.
I just said this is what I'd do just to know if it's distro or hardware related.
If the same problem is present on a Debian based system (which is officialy supported by Steam)...

All I can see is Mageia is not well supported because it's not a Debian based system, but it's just a wild guess. Else I don't understand, you have quite a machine!
Do you have a spare drive to try your setup on Ubuntu or Mint?
It's just a suggestion but that's what I'd try.
Just looked at your pics... Nice job! Roccat... How I'd like to get one of these! :)

Quoting: pete910What's the full spec of your hardware (cpu, ram, not only gpu) and which OS?Quoting: HonorEDnlKThere are two user.cfg files, one is located in the game folder and the other one is where your saved games are, try editing your resolution on that one and it should work, there are other interesting configurations like tessellation but I haven't tried if it works yet. It seems that the game also runs at your native resolution so try changing your desktop's resolution before running the game.Did both at the same time to make sure, Still no good. I know perf is crap on AMD compared to windows but I get the feeling this game just don't like AMD GPU's . Well in *nix anyway
I was getting smooth gameplay but I've reached open areas where the drop is noticeable, I'll have to lower my settings but I think that the Linux port still needs to be optimized.

I played Final Fatasy 1 (NES) to 4 (SNES) and then lost interest... The series felt like going in any directions and yet none... But it might just be me who didn't understand the concept, at the time...

I found a really interesting thread about SSAA:

Personally, my GTX-750-ti can't handle 2x SSAA, so I turn it off and play at medium settings with PhysX enabled. Even with this setup that some would call unacceptable, the game looks awesome. I can still see the upgrades vs MLL original and the game runs smoother.
The comments are from Windows users too so SSAA might not be for everybody unless you have a beefed up pc. The kind that I don't have...
