Same here: "No Tux, no bux".
I have played and bought the first one when it was released on Linux. It reminds me of "The Eye of the Beholder" series of old. Great game!
Valve is strangely silent lately about the development and futur of SteamOS... Anybody has hints about what's to come?

i7-2600
16gb ram
Gigabyte O.C. GTX-750 ti 2gb
Ubuntu 14.04 with version 340.58 driver from xorg-edgers repository (this might help too).
From 50 to 65 fps at maximum settings, steady. Great port!
Edit: The bold for the gpu is because my former GTX-650 2gb is in another pc.

GTX-650 is more like 120$.
Many of us have rigs with a total price equal to the price of your GPU. :)

What I meant it's that I've seen games loosing much more in term of performances because of Wine, with the same rig.

Quoting: KDGNORit run good but what spec do you have :-/At that time, it was a NVidia GTX650 with I7-2600 and 16bg DDR3-1333.
why no info on what hardware you have...

I understand, it was just a suggestion.
FYI this game is no more in early access. It's been officially released a couple of weeks ago and I think, but I may be wrong, that they added a solo campaign of some sort.
Edit:
"Epic Single-Player - Galactic War is a twist on traditional real-time strategy campaigns that has players battling across a dynamic galaxy filled with procedurally-generated content. Every playthrough is different. Annihilation is final."
Found that on Steam.

Great!
Last time I tried, it didn't work... Not supported.
Going to try it when i'm home.
Thanks for the quick answer.
Used to play it through wine and it worked well at the time. I got little doubts about the quality of the port.

I'm a big fan of World of Tanks but it's not available on Linux so I switched to WarThunder. Anyone knows when the Steam Launcher for Linux will show up?

The problem is that game development on Linux is a work in progress and Valve has given it a new momentum. Still, there's a lot of work to do and some of us hope to have performances on par with Windows.
We should keep in mind that DX has a 15 years lead of development on us.
I'm very confident that things are going to get better over time but in the meanwhile I understand why some of us are disapointed.
Maybe we should see the state of gaming on linux like a big beta and we are contributing to make it better?
