Quoting: subIs this a Winelib port or the Windows game packaged and preconfigured in Wine?
Runs in a WINE sandbox.
Thanks!

I'd really appreciate if Liam could add that bit of information in future articles of "uses Wine" ports. :)
At least when that information is available or he has access to the game.

Imho Winelib ports are actually not really a bad thing (for old games at least) while just packaging the
Windows binary is quite *meh*.
I am only able to do this for games I own, I do not own this game and Topware don't give me keys to any of their games. Can't write about what I don't have :)
Sure! :)

Thanks for your work!

Quoting: adolsonAs far as I know, he didn't even bother working on the Linux port of Braid at all. He got Ryan Gordon to do it.

Maybe he tried and failed, gave up and got Ryan on board. In that case, which I find unlikely, I'd probably just laugh.
Yes, AFAIK he didn't give a sh*t even back then.
The only reason to have port it at all was because it was
a strict requirement to participate in the Humble "Indie" Bundle.

Watch carefully.
That's what you become if you've been patted on the shoulder too many times.

Quoting: LinasI have mixed feelings about Wine ports. On one hand it's nice to see these games on Linux, but then I think, you could already run them in Wine, so it's not like they have done anything I couldn't have done myself.
It depends. If the binary is just wrapped in a Wine environment, then yes.
However if they have access to the Windows source code of the game
the could take the Winelib approach which has certain advantages:

Not sure which route they went here.

@Liam

It would be great if that bit of information could be added in future articles about releases using Wine.

I have it, the problem is the Graphics card:

"ATI Radeon HD4850 -OR- GeForce GTX 295 (Does not support Intel Integrated Graphics Cards)"

Anyone knows a Linux typing game usable on Intel Integrated?
Well maybe not perfectly what you are searching for, but imho still fun.

Update: Turns out it was a joke.
No need to add further jokes on top of your typical AMD performance, Feral. :P
