Just wanted to add, I bought the game today and the fix in the article worked perfectly! Was able to sign into PSN and play the game just fine on Kubuntu 24. It even synced the sign-in to Steam deck, so I didn't have to sign in again on it.

woooo! This is one of the few games I happily bought even at full price. The devs are lovely and there's so much to do, so many different outcomes, even after beating the game it's worth beating again

it sounds like an Ark x Zero Dawn Crossover with the best of both :woot: and it seems you can ride way more machines than in Zero Dawn. I'm excited! I love both games

Hmmm... this could explain why Remote Play was so choppy the other day. However this does not explain all the other bugs I seem to have with Remote Play, like audio still playing on the host and desktop resolution not changing. Every time I try it, I end up having some sort of problem and it's so frustrating. Even with a Windows host I had problems. I feel like i should not even bother any more and just run everything locally

Do you mean on the Deck? On my modest desktop it ran at a low FPS initially but improved enough with subsequent updates that I was able to increase some settings.

Yep, I mean on the Deck. It stutters constantly. I do not believe this is an issue with Proton, because it seems to run fine on my Linux Desktop. I uninstalled it yesterday because i got fed up with the bad performance. It's honestly insane it's Steam Deck Verified tbh.

Some of the bugs I want fixed are the Steam deck sometimes not outputting to an external display and sometimes not launching games. Both bugs seem to be fixed by a restart, but I honestly have no idea what triggers them. But it's kind of annoying to just want to game and seeing that the Deck has still not managed to launch the game after 5 minutes
