Interesting but I guess it would interfere with using gyro, right?

While I'm interested in the franchise, I find the inclusion of a VR only title puzzling. Even in the basic package, it is included. I'll pass on this because I don't see the point of buying things i can't use anyway

Quoting: Mountain ManYup, I'd rather have older stuff that works properly than bleeding edge with tons of bugsQuoting: AsciiWolfNice, but I wonder why they didn't go with Mesa 24.2. Mesa 24.1 is already quite old at this point. As a Linux user, you should know that "old" means "thoroughly tested and stable".

Why are these Linux patch notes always so cryptic  in the Windows Patch notes, you read things like 'game ready driver for this and that', 'optimal settings for this and that', 'fixed this bug'. Whereas with the Linux drivers i feel like I need a degree to understand that. What the frick is VK_EXT_depth_clamp_control for example

Nice! Control is a great game with a very unique setting and gameplay, I like it. Although I found Control's difficulty pretty brutal, especially the boss fights. However, this seems like it could be easier with friends to help you

1660€ for an Nvidia 4060, 16GB RAM, and 500GB SSD??? This is absolutely insane. How can anyone justify spending this much money and then getting low end hardware for the price? Why combine that with an i9 when it just holds the processor back in this absurd configuration? At the very least it should be 1TB ande 32GB

The gpu seems a bit on the weak side, barely better than a GTX 1650. But this doesn't seem to sell itself as a gaming laptop so I guess it's fine for occasional or casual gaming workloads. It's better than intel's HD graphics for sure!

While this may be cool for some people, I'm not really overly excited for this. Tomb Raider 4 and 5 (Last Revelation and Chronicles) are basically the same gameplay as 1,2,3 from what I can tell and they weren't exactly well received when they came out due to lack of innovation compared to their predecessors. So I don't really see the need to buy those 2 again to play them Remastered.
Tomb Raider 6 (Angel of Darkness) has received the Restoration Project which even adds full mouse look and controller support to the game. And there's also the Definitive Edition which focuses on remastered graphics. I played it for about 9 hours in this configuration and I honestly really liked it. It also works well on Linux with the exception of cutscenes.
So I'll probably pass on this remaster.
