Hmmm... this could explain why Remote Play was so choppy the other day. However this does not explain all the other bugs I seem to have with Remote Play, like audio still playing on the host and desktop resolution not changing. Every time I try it, I end up having some sort of problem and it's so frustrating. Even with a Windows host I had problems. I feel like i should not even bother any more and just run everything locally

Quoting: SalvatosYep, I mean on the Deck. It stutters constantly. I do not believe this is an issue with Proton, because it seems to run fine on my Linux Desktop. I uninstalled it yesterday because i got fed up with the bad performance. It's honestly insane it's Steam Deck Verified tbh.Quoting: StellaI've played the original and it ran like crap with constant stuttering. So, I'm honestly not sure if a remaster will run any better. But I'm open to it and will probably buy it at some pointDo you mean on the Deck? On my modest desktop it ran at a low FPS initially but improved enough with subsequent updates that I was able to increase some settings.

Some of the bugs I want fixed are the Steam deck sometimes not outputting to an external display and sometimes not launching games. Both bugs seem to be fixed by a restart, but I honestly have no idea what triggers them. But it's kind of annoying to just want to game and seeing that the Deck has still not managed to launch the game after 5 minutes

While the Steam Controller 1 is a great concept, its execution is severely lacking.
it honestly feels really cheap, the shoulder buttons feel like they could come off any minute and both the shoulders and the touchpads require an overwhelming amount of force to be pressed. that also produces a very loud clicking noise. the vibration on it's also really terrible compared to any other controller, it's more a whiny sound with a little bit of feedback than vibration. The face buttons are too small, hard to find when you're not looking, and have a mushy feel. I find myself constantly looking at it in my hands because my muscle memory just can't find the buttons...
It's a shame honestly because i wanted to like this controller. i feel like it'd work great for games that don't need precise aiming. But no matter what, I just keep coming back to the Dualshock 4 which is superior in almost every way.

I imagine most of you gaming are likely at least on the 560 series that I covered previously.Nop, still on 550 here. I recently upgraded from 535. I'm kind of anxious about new drivers as I've made so many bad experiences with updates both on Linux and Windows
